The Ministry Of Defence have confirmed today that Prince Harry has been fighting the Taliban on the front line in Afghanistan for the past ten weeks. There had been a news blackout deal on the story, but websites including the US website Drudge Report leaked it, which has disappointed the Army chiefs.
The head of the British Army, Sir Richard Dannatt said, "I am very disappointed that foreign websites have decided to run this story without consulting us."
Speaking to the BBC before his deployment Harry said "[I'll] finally get the chance to do the soldiering that I want to do." When interviewed during his time in Afghanistan he seemed very content, saying,
"I haven't really had a shower for four days, I haven't washed my clothes for a week. It's very nice to be sort of a normal person for once, I think it's about as normal as I'm going to get."
Stay safe, Harry.

Well I guess it's good that he's just as willing as all the other soldiers to put his life on his line for his country. That's crazy though, I hope he stays safe.
1I agree, this is something that shouyld be reported on AFTER he is home and safe. Boo!
2I agree they should not have reported this until he was home.
3I'm totally with you guys, it's a shame they felt the need to break the blackout.
4I'm quite disappointed with the need to reveal this story - it's not only put his life in danger but also those in his regiment. Hope the troops are safe though.
5The selfish idiots who leaked the information have painted a big red "kidnap or assasinate me please" sign on Harry's backside. They've also put his unit in danger as well. I think that if any legal action can can be taken against those who leaked the story it should be pursued.
6Bah. Drudge Report.
I saw footage of this on CNN while I was at the gym today and I almost fainted Harry is so hot!
Especially the shots of him firing the machine gun? Sooooooooooo sexy!!
7I am happy for him that he is able to have some sort of a sembalence to normal, even though it is in the midst of a horrible situation
8I just cannot believe someone chose to put this out there. Like someone else said, it makes a dangerous situation even more dangerous for him and his entire regiment.
However, a big round of applause for Harry, for doing something he probably could have gotten out of doing, and for being able to appreciate the normalcy of an otherwise awful situation. It really speaks volumes about the kind of young man he's grown up to be.
9First and foremost, Harry is hot!
Secondly, my God, the media even follows this poor guy in war. There has to be a line drawn somewhere. This is a very dangerous situation for Harry and all the other soldiers as ya'll have pointed out. It's just so sad how the media has no regard to the lives the cover sometimes.
Third, he is pretty upstanding. It's one thing to say you're behind something and an whole other to act on it in a real way.
10of course it was a US site that showed it. i was at the gym earlier today and saw the story on CNN. it's one of those things that you know people want to know about - and not that it'll really compromise his safety - but you have to be aware of these things, and i feel like the website that leaked the information wasn't so conscious.
11omg im so proud of him. i cant belive some foreign website was so disrespectful and selfish to put not just him but the other soldiers in danger just for some news, espeshcialy when the English media kept it quiet , its disgusting. i think he's really brave and a such patriot as much as all the other soldiers, the Queen and Royal family must be soo proud.
12ilanac13 it was a australian website apparently
13OH NO! the hot prince hes soooo cute. ive always liked him better than williams ever since they were little. i hope he stays safe and get back home safe! pray for his safety
14i really hope he stays safe too. prince harry has always struck me as such an amazing man.. not just with all the charity work he does, but the way he speaks.. it's just so honest and fresh but he's also very intelligent. and what he's doing now for his country takes so much courage.. i hope everything will be ok
15i heard he is already on his way back home since the leak
16shame! does he think us plebs don't bath for four days at a time?!?!?!
17he should go home.the risk is too much for UK to handle.
