I think it is pretty obvious what has happened. His boiler has broken and he's not been able to wash for days and days. Of course the only solution was to pop round and visit Amy. She has plenty of hot water. Sadly she appears to have eaten the soap after an eventful night out, that sort of thing is easily done. Hence all he could do was clutch his grubby guitar to his chest and wander away. A lost soul on the hunt for lux..

he is so disgusting - i can't understand why anyone would like him. the fact that kate was with him for so long still baffles me. i hope that amy is ONLY MAKING MUSIC with him and not getting involved in pete's bad habits that the whole world knows about

Pete's a funny one. The first Libertines album is really incredible, but he has wasted himself on drugs and all his subsequent work is really mediocre, some of it downright embarassing. He's definately charismatic though, didn't even Amy's dad admit that he was actually very "charming" when he met him when he visited Amy in rehab? He looks so gross though, he needs to be ducked in Dettol.
