A whole host of celebrities gathered at LA's Kodak Theater last night for the taping of Idol Gives Back. Singers dominated the arrivals room, with our own Geri Halliwell walking the carpet with her new man. I love Carrie Underwood's hair and makeup but I'm not sure about her dress — shimmering dream or splattering of child's vomit? Fergie slipped into some tight trousers while Miley Cyrus gave the peace sign and admitted to OK! that she never has time to watch the show. I'd hate to be that busy!
As we know, actors were also helping Idol to give back, with Reese Witherspoon visiting a school in New Orleans and Teri Hatcher performing on stage (which the vast majority of you were not looking forward to!). The weirdest sighting in the arrivals room for me was one-time footballer and current actor Vinnie Jones — how random! The show will be broadcast here on ITV2 on Friday, but our friends Stateside will get to see Brad Pitt on stage two days earlier. Jealous!
