Following his sentencing yesterday, Pete Doherty is spending his first full day behind bars today.

He was sentenced to 14 weeks in prison for violating his probation and using drugs.

Yesterday Pete's spokesperson told NME.com that the singer was looking into grounds for appeal.

However, Pete's solicitor Sean Curran has now said his client will not be appealing against the decision.
