Good old Russell Brand has been promoting his movie Forgetting Sarah Marshall over on US soil, and he had his first American chat show appearance on Jay Leno's show this week.
When I first watched it I almost cried laughing as Russell rambled his way through an eccentric discussion about hats, the differences between his character and his real persona, being a sexy vegetarian, food in LA and his Mum. And all the while he managed to be incredibly charming yet incredibly dirty.

Russell Brand rocks!! Hari hari krishna
1I love this, he makes me laugh. Wonder what the Americans made of him?
2He makes me laugh.... his hair though..?
3I have the most disturbing crush on Russel Brand. I've been meaning to pick up his biog for a while. Very much looking forward to the film it looks hilarious.
4As one of the few Americans who already knew about (and loved) Russell before Forgetting Sarah Marshall, I was so excited to see him on Jay Leno. He was brilliant! The audience seemed to really love him, lots of cheers and laughter. He laments his lack of fame in the US, but I don't think it will be that way for much longer.
5You're not alone swwonder, I have a HUGE crush on Russell Brand. Although I hasten to add, he's by no means the most most disturbing of my crushes - I also have a thing for Rik Mayall and Bob Geldof!
6I've read his Booky Wook - it's good.
i dont get why all american interviews always compare your home city to theres, do u like la, how do u compare newyork to london... i dont get it, its not like your going to like a place better than your own home lol, i like jay leno though hes seems to take russell in his stride. russell is so much more reserved hehe.
7Oh I just remembered one more seriously disturbing crush that I have... Ricky Gervais! I must just love men who make me laugh. (Don't quite know how to explain the Bob Geldof one though - must be the Irish accent.
