According to The Sun, Amy Winehouse has been given an ultimatum by her record label Universal β if she doesn't keep out of trouble she will never release another album.
The singer has been told that she has to stay clean if she wants to put out a third album with the label. A similar threat was made by Lucian Grange, European head of Universal, earlier this year to get Amy to rehab.
This ultimatum follows the revelation at the weekend that Amy cancelled a trip to the Bahamas that her label had arranged for her to begin recording her third album.
Maybe Amy's too busy watching baby and ironing, her new alleged obsession.
A source said:
"Amy has been reminded of her responsibilities. Unless she is clean she will not be allowed to release another album.
"She took notice when Lucian talked to her earlier in the year and agreed to go to rehab. But she didnβt take it seriously enough.
"They would never release her from her deal, they would just not put an album out."
Come on Amy, we want to see you back doing what you do best. And I mean singing, not ironing.

Is this really fair? I mean, yes, I would like to see Amy Winehouse get well for her own sake. And it would be nice if she could show up and perform to standard...but giving her an ultimatum just doesn't seem fair. There are A HOST of drug abusers in the music industry.
1I think while this sounds like a big ultimatum and she should heed the warning, I bet she could swing that beehive and hit someone who would love to sign her to their label. But I applaud Universal for doing that, its basically all they can do without dropping her
2I love Amy, she is the truth in every sense, however i feel she as others must be held accountable for her actions. Its just like any other job, if you come to work wasted time and time again your boss is going to and has he right to ask you to not show up to work wasted and if you don't comply with their wised you suffer the repercussions...
