Noel Gallagher looked amused and confused as he left the Met Bar with his partner Sara MacDonald last night and it may well be he'd just heard that Andy Abraham thinks Oasis should enter the Eurovision Song Contest! It may sound rather far-fetched, but in 1998 rumours suggested Noel wanted the single "All Around The World" to be entered in the competition. Speaking ahead of the big contest, which takes place tomorrow night, Andy said if Oasis got involved "the credibility would go up tenfold, I think, in this country. I was hoping that Liam [Gallagher] would get involved and kind of do his antics on stage and everything". I can't see it happening, can you? Noel's a bit too busy collaborating with Paul Weller — the single "Echoes Round The Sun" (a collaboration between the pair plus Gem Archer) is released on Monday.

Randomly, I actually did a presentation for my GCSE's about, amongst other things, why credible acts should enter Eurovision. It's sort of become one big joke now, although we'd probably still lose, it's all gone political - like voting for your friends.
1Noel looks hot.
