I don't often swoon over Prince William, but he's looking rather handsome in these photos, I have to say – perhaps it's the uniform? He is training with the Royal Navy for the next two months so that he can become familiar with the conditions and structures of the organisation. The Prince will spend some time in Dartmouth at the Naval College, and then will be taking part in operations in the Caribbean on HMS Iron Duke.

It's been reported that one of his first duties will be to buy a crate of beer for his fellow trainees after messing up the task of dropping the ship’s anchor. It's a tradition, you see. Ahhh, British traditions – you've got to love them!
