So, on this side of the pond Lily Allen has Mark Ronson as a BFF, but over in the US the Ronson du jour is Mark's sister Samantha, who seems to be almost surgically attached to a certain Lindsay Lohan. So, obviously, the logical next step is that while out in LA, Lily would meet up with Lindsay and Sam – so they did! Last night Lily and the LA twosome dined out with friends at Il Sole sharing smiles and big hand gestures and appearing to get on famously... oh to be a fly on the wall in that restaurant.

Lily and Lindsay did a cardi-swap at some point, as Lindsay was definitely wearing Lily's blue shoulder-warmer indoors – as the face of the new Visa Swap Shop in Covent Garden, maybe Lindsay is just practising what she preaches?! I wonder if we can look forward to a Lily-blog about the evening, or more Lindsay/Lily nights out in the future?
