X Factor auditions have moved from Manchester — where Cheryl Cole celebrated her birthday — on to Cardiff, with a new group of hopefuls trying to impress Simon, Dannii, Louis and Cheryl. While the majority of you don't think Simon Cowell is hot, a certain politician is pretty impressed with the music mogul's talents. Conservative Party leader David Cameron held a children's party at a London hospital this week and Simon, who is friends with his press secretary Andy Coulson, recruited some Britain’s Got Talent finalists to perform. Faryl Smith and Signature (the latter being Tory supporters, apparently) then also appeared at a Conservative fund-raising ball. David Cameron's political opponents are not impressed. Pop music and politics — whatever next?
