Jordan/Katie Price launched her bed linen range at Matalan in Milton Keynes yesterday. Yes, you read right — a bed linen range. Now I'm all in favour of taking advantage of your opportunities, and I'm a big fan of Kate's, but even I can't help thinking this is a bit much. The autobiographies (plural), novels, music album, perfume, underwear, cosmetics, children's books and even her new clothing line for horse riders are all part and parcel of the kind of celebrity branding to which we've grown accustomed, but bedding? I'd love to know what you think, so tell me: with her new bed linen range, is Kate taking merchandising a step too far?

4Whilst the whole thing has an air of the ridiculousness about it, I have to say that celebrity endorsed bedding makes more sense then riding clothes - surely horse-riding merchandise-buying Jordan fans is a bit of a minority group to aim a product at?

8I say good for her, People seem to think that she can't do these things but why not there is no law against celebs doing things so because shes got a few books out, an underwear range, purfume,a few kids books and clothes for horses range that she cant have a bedding range to at least shes doing something good, she could be making tacky calenders for men, i think that she should be given a chance to do what she enjoys and that is bringing stuff out for her fans to have, I think that Katie is brill and i can't wait to get some of her bedding range i think it's really nice.

11it was a step too far when she designed clothing for horse riding..come on how many people really ride horses, as supposed to a regular clothing line..but bed linens are cute, and not as weird as say writing a childrens book.
