Check it out! It looks like Russell Brand is on a fitness mission ahead of his presenting gig at the MTV Video Music Awards in LA in September. With all those buff men and stunning ladies in the audience (no doubt including his girlfriend, Teresa Palmer) then Russell doesn't want to let us Brits down! I have to say I think I prefer his 'workout' look, he's looking pretty good! As well as his weight, we know he's also going to have to watch his language – he had this to say about his upcoming gig:
“I've been warned when I'm presenting there are two things I am never allowed to say. One — c***. And two — Scientology. There is one sentence that could join both of those words but I'm going to try and not say it.”
Better start minding his Ps and Qs now then, and hopefully he'll be ready... I don't doubt there will be some controversy baiting from Russell on the day though!

everyone here thinks that the choice is a bit 'odd' that he's going to host - but i LOVE russell and i'm so excited to see what he can bring to the show. it's hard to find someone who's funny to host, and he's got such a different sense of humor than what we're used to, so it'll be nice to see him.
