I love, love, LOVE hearing your opinions, and I know there's a whole load of you out there reading the site who want to get your thoughts out to all your fellow readers – probably with far more lucid opinions than those displayed in my convo with FabUK on the right there – so here's even more of an incentive to speak your mind!
Each month I'll award a sweet piece of Sugar swag to the user who has commented on PopSugarUK the most! It doesn't matter where you're from, all you have to do is make sure you're signed up to TeamSugar and type out your thoughts about the people and subjects I post about! Simple, huh?
Not signed up to TeamSugar yet? It's really quick and easy to register, and it will give you the ability to comment on all the posts across the network, enter all our UK competitions (if you're UK-based!) and you'll become a part of our friendly and fun community here! So what are you waiting for? Register now!
I'll announce the first Top Talker at the end of August... so get commenting!

Ed Hardy
Certainly will!
1Great incentive!
2he he don't really need encouragement!
3also what's with the iPhone style speech bubbles...?
4Ahhh, that was a conversation FabUK and I were having on AIM!
5Tell us about the goodies!
6If you click on sugar swag you can see what you have to choose from!
7yayay! great incentive indeed! You'll certainly see lilflowa alot more around these parts
8Pop is there a BellaUk? I think ive seen references to it and mentions of it but i dont see the site.
Are Fab and Pop the only up and running UK sites at the mo? just for clarity thanks
9This is a fun way to get more people around these parts. But I hope there aren't a load of irrelevant or pointless comments now.
10Hey lilflowa - yes there is a BellaUK - she posts on FabSugarUK along with Fab's fashion posts!
And swwonder, I share your hopes - fingers crossed there will be lots of engaging comments that everyone can respond to and enjoy
11lilfowa I think it is part of Fab UK but I should let Pop Sugar answer that!
12Thanks pop! Thanks Penny!
I sure hope the UK sites start to expand soon for example our very own geek sugar so we know when different gadgets etc are avaiable in the UK and what stores and what prices they are etc!
Slowly but surely we will get there lol
13Can Americans post, too? I love reading the UK version of Sugar to see how things differ and also learn more about another part of the world.
14Hey rickimc - Great question, and the answer is yes! Unlike some of our other comps, this Top Commenter competition is open to every TeamSugar member, regardless of the country you're commenting from
15I agree Lilflowa, PopUS can get me really excited about food/makeup/clothes, before I realise it's not available in the UK at all.
A shame there's no PopSugarUK section in the Sugar swap!
16lv this idea, loving popUK. lilflowa we WILL get there lol
17" PopUS can get me really excited about food/makeup/clothes, before I realise it's not available in the UK at all. "
I'm obsessed with the goodies you can get on lilsugar, and have managed to order them from the US, but the shipping is usually a MILLION POUNDS. I'd like a LOT MORE SHOPPING on these pages, please!!!
18Yay! Thanks, PopSugarUK! I will definitely be posting now and not just lurking.
19Ok, as someone who can't participate in the US competitions, and now it turns out can't participate in the UK competitions even though I'm just across the pond, I would LOVE to know why it isn't possible to post a prize to countries outside of the UK or the US but it IS possible to post us some swag in order to encourage us to comment more??
Answers on a postcard please, so sorry, UK or US residents not eligible, though i can't give you a reason!
20To clarify, anyone is able to be eligible for the Top Talker competition, whether you're from the US, UK or anywhere else! So get commenting on PopSugarUK and you could win
21But that still doesn't answer my question... how come sugar swag can be posted to anywhere but prizes are specific to the US or the UK?
22the anticipation is killing me.
23Kiki tee, don't quote me on that as it's totally off the top of my head, but it might have something to do with the brands sponsoring the usual giveaways? For instance BellaSugar giveaways come from Sephora, and I guess it's not interesting for them to ship products to the UK since the shops don't exist here, and it wouldn't really benefit their market.
24Just a suggestion though.
SO excited about this competition. I'm moving to London in November, so I've been reading PopSugar UK and FabSugar UK daily to try and learn more about the UK! Hopefully by the time I move to London, I will have finally figured out the whole Big Brother thing! haha.
25Well I'll give it a shot. Bonshichbongenre welcome to the UK ... hope you enjoy London more than I did (I'm a Northern lass at heart now).
26Thanks wambalus!
27Wambalus, I live in London now but lived in York last year and am pining for the North again.
Everyone's just so much nicer up there.
sniff sniff
28Yeah I lived in Newcastle for three years and now have gone even further up to Glasgow ... the weather's worse but the people are lovely!
29Yeah why IS that?? It was always colder and windier when I was living in the north, but people were always cheerful and kind ... here, even with a bit of sun they're surly and rude. I actually feel my positive energy being slowly zapped out of me during my commute to work - now I understand why my bf cycles! Public transport is soul sucking.
30I've gone the other way and miss London like MAD! It is freezing here! And I like the frostiness of the London crowd.
31I think if everyone was suddenly friendly in London, it would freak me out. But now if I'm travelling elsewhere, I find it really strange if people WEREN'T nice. I keep thinking I would like to settle in York ... or Edinburgh.
32It's the cold, though! I haven't worn a single flippy silk dress this year. I know everyone has had a crap summer, but every time I come down to London and the weather is supposed to be the same temperature as Yorkshire, it's really so much warmer. I miss dresses!
33Yeah, along with the coldness, the wind ... the wind always makes the coldness ten times worse! At least it doesn't get as windy down here. You need to put some leggings under your skirts!
34I recommend Edinburgh.
People are definitely friendlier and more down-to-earth in
Glasgow, but the city freaks me out - too big for me. Plus I don't think I could handle the West Coast weather.
I do have a special place in my heart for Newcastle though.
And I agree about the weather. As rainy as this summer has been, at least I've managed to wear skirts most of the time. I remember having to wear my winter coat and hat all of last year's summer..
