Baz Luhrmann is one of my favourite directors, so I'm very excited about Australia (out in the UK on Boxing Day) starring his fellow countrymen Nicole Kidman and Hugh Jackman. My girl Pop US brought you pictures of the pair filming on horseback Down Under last year, and I couldn't resist showing you these gorgeous new pictures of a pre-pregnancy Nicole and Hugh hugging on location in Darwin. The actors are back in their native country (with a new addition) filming extra scenes for the movie, with Nicole back to work just weeks after giving birth. How does she do it?
Set in northern Australia during World War II, the film focuses on an English aristocrat (Nicole), who joins forces with a stock-man (Hugh) to protect her inherited cattle. With the stars back in their homeland and Baz creating a tourism ad campaign for the country, as Paris would say, Oz is so hot right now.

Can't wait for this movie!
1there's been so much talk about this movie that i'm sure it'll get decent reviews. even when nicole was preggo she didn't look much bigger - so i just have to giggle about those comments.
2Saw the glamorous and slightly crazy costumes for this in US Vogue. Was surprised to see they're by Baz's wife! epics like this aren't my type of movie, so i will definitely wait for DVD at least.
