Oh dear, I wish Helen Mirren hadn't said that. I understand why she talks like that, but the point is the feeling of foolishness and self-blame of a woman in that position is the reason men literally get away with rape and will feel able to do it to another woman.
1I don't see the need for Helen Mirren to talk about such private things that happened so long ago really ... I'm all for raising the awareness of date rape, but this wasn't really contributing to cause.
And man, Amy has had serious meth-face all year, I'm not surprised she OD'd. Meth is nasty stuff.
2I must admit I was disappointed in Helen Mirren's revelations about date rape ... I think in every case, anything that constitutes rape needs to be taken seriously.
3I really don't understand why she felt the need to say that. This is also pretty offending - good for her if she is 'fine' with it, but she shouldn't encourage things like that.
4Does Gordon Ramsey ever shut that huge hole in his head... and to Helen Mirren, i think that was really inappropriate and random, why is this coming out all of a sudden and i think all cases on rape should be brought to a conclusion of getting justice, does she know what rape means.....?!
