very disappointed in helen mirren's comments. this will only dissuade victims of rape to come forward. no - means no! in any case.
1i'm really impressed that jude is taking this type of action and supporting a good cause. he's not always the first to come to mind for these sorts of things
as for the helen thing - you know, you can't necessarily pass judgement on what people say/do in their life. i think that she was just trying to say what her experience was and it got taken the wrong way...maybe?
hmmm emigrating to NY really? that could be interesting - but i'm sure that if it's something that's being thought about for a while then it's not an impulse and that's a smart thing. i have to say that i'm impressed that he's considering his children in the decision and not moving until they are older and out of school.
is anyone really surprised about the language and what not in the katie/andre thing? it's just the type of folks that they are - and it's not shocking anymore ...at least in my opinion.
2I agree about the Katie/Andre thing, Ilanac. Just look at one of their interviews and you'll see all the bleeped words, don't tell me they weren't expecting it!
