Like thousands of freshers across the country, Princess Beatrice is starting her university career this week, arriving for her first day at Goldsmiths University yesterday. Having spent her gap year traveling through Thailand, Argentina, Brazil, Belgium and Spain, the Princess is now studying a BA in the History of Ideas. Beatrice achieved an A and two B grades in her Drama, History and Film Studies A Levels, but her sister, Eugenie, achieved even better grades this summer, making her the smartest royal. The sisters partied together at Boujis the night before, but Beatrice was looking fresh faced and full of smiles as she turned up to the university.

My bf's flatmate walked past her in the Victoria area yesterday. I doubt she'll be living in the New Cross area whilst she's as Goldsmiths!!!
1Felt really sorry for her arriving with loads of photographers taking her picture... can't see it being easy to make friends when your in her position...
2I was about to post the same, Tototee - starting Uni/school is already stressful enough, I'm not sure how I'd handle people following me around.

4Ha, I also very much doubt there will be any Royals residing in New Cross.
I hope there ends up being a load of paps outside Club Sandwich (Goldsmith's cheesy club night) as that would be jokes!

6it's not even the fact that there are a million photogs around her while she's getting used to campus, but it's the fact that her grades were published that would bug me the most. i think that it's one thing to have your face always in the media but to have your academics- i think that a line should be drawn somewhere and apparently the press don't agree.
7I wish this lump studied something substantial like nurooncology or pharmacogenomics or even medicne. Now that would be academic, and she might even discover something. In fact she might discover that the result of her fat features was due to hyperglycemia and she would perhaps develop diabetes later in life if she doesn't watch herself.
