Can you believe "The Promise" is Girls Aloud's nineteenth UK single?! The song is out on October 27 and has a sixties vibe to it, which the girls have played to great effect in the video. Set in a drive-in, the girls watch themselves perform on screen... there's lots of big hair and sparkle.
I've got to say I'm loving Cheryl Cole on The X Factor at the moment, I think she's perfect to mentor the girls, and I look forward to seeing how it goes on next week's show!

i like this song, quite different than their previous singles. The video is a little bit boring but they all look so good in it!
1Err I don't know what to think of the song. It's not bad, but it's not very GAloud-like imo.
2They look gorgeous, but I prefer a slightly harder sound to their songs, if 'harder' is a word you can use with Girls Aloud!
