The live US sketch show Saturday Night Live constantly gets people talking in America, and the videos often make their way around the world via the internet. Last night Paul Rudd guest-hosted the show, with appearances from Beyonce and a lycra-clad Justin Timberlake — check out this clip!
So what do you think, would a band of British comedians getting together on a weekly basis with a couple of celebrity guests as well as a guest host (a la The Sunday Night Project) be something you would be interested in? And which comedians would you like to see involved? Let me know!

Justin had me in stitches.
1the american one is hilarious, but i think if we did a UK one it would just end up being full of ex big brother contestants and unfunny comedians. I dont think big stars would do it, although I'd like to be proven wrong!
2^agreed - I love the American version, but I wouldn't necessarily watch a UK one.
3No, the American version has been running for so long and is a great show because there it's a one of a kind. I think that a UK one would just spoil it.
4This is hysterical! Comedy at it's finest!
5Didn't there use to be a similar concept in the UK quite a few years ago (I think Ben Elton did it), and they brought it back recently and it didn't work. Or did all that happen in my head? Anyway, if it got decent celebs and decent comedians, then I don't see why not.
