He's so handsome and fresh-faced when he's clean-shaven. However, the beard makes him look stately and mature.

He looks a lot more mature with the beard; for once, he doesn't look like a teenager anymore. And, dare I say, he actually looks regal?

I'm reminded of the beards of Prince Michael of Kent, King Edward VII, among others.

I agree with you komler about the regal looks, I'd like him to lose the beard and stay as young as possible for a bit longer though. He'll have enough responsibility one day.

William looks every inch like the future King of England with the beard. He looks like Tsar Nicholas II of Russia, or even his King Edward VII and King George V. He looks regal with the beard, although it's a bit straggly.

The beard is kind of cool imo. Even though it makes him look like the owner of one of my fav pubs here.

I'd prefer him with a bit more hair on top of his hair, otherwise he should shave it shorter - gong bald with longish hair isn't a good look.

I voted clean shaven as my preferred state, although he looks attractive with the facial hair - just less so than without!

Oh dear, that beard is awful. Maybe it's because I just don't like them on almost any young man.
