Our British musicians did us proud at the
2009 Grammy Awards last night,
winning several categories at the star-studded ceremony at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. Robert Plant picked up five gongs with Alison Krauss, and Adele was named Best New Artist and won Best Female Vocal Performance for "Chasing Pavements", having been
styled for the occasion by Anna Wintour. Estelle and Duffy both received one trophy each, while Coldplay celebrated with three awards, including Song of the Year for "Viva La Vida".
