On Friday morning Robbie Williams cemented his comeback by visiting Chris Moyles at Radio 1 for an interview and playing his new single "Bodies" for the first time. On Monday morning Cheryl Cole will do the same thing with her new single "Fight For This Love", appearing on the show between 7 and 9am. When I was younger I used to tune in to the radio for first plays of new singles, but on Friday I definitely tuned in more for the interview than the single as I knew I'd be able to catch up with that online. Do you ever tune in for first plays of your favourite artists' tracks?

the Internet - Leona's song leaked yesterday, a day before its radio premiere.. the song is amazing but all the fun of waiting and anticipating was gone when it aired today :/
2I woke up at 6am a few weeks ago just to tune in to some radio that was premiering Mariah's "I wanna know what love is" lol.. feels like the cassettes days when you had no other choice but listening to the radio to hear new tracks..
I won't be able to tune in to the radio to hear Cheryl's new song but I can wait to listen to it..
I probably would if I knew about it, but everyone usually ends up hearing it anyway
And as much as I love Cheryl, I'm not loving the fact that she's releasing a solo single/album, it kind of gives me a feeling that Girls Aloud aren't as "tight" as before, but I'm probably wrong

4Only when it's a U2 song or from another band I like just as much - although most of the time you can catch it slightly earlier from Internet leaks or US radios.
5Sofia me too, i love Cheryl but I love Girls Aloud, just coz they're such a girl band LOL and thats cool!!
