Dev Patel and Freida Pinto made some new furry friends on a their visit to San Diego Zoo earlier this month. They looked delighted to meet a porcupine called Icana and an ocelot called Diego: cute! According to onlookers, the couple had a blast during their stay in San Diego, dining at Nobu and visiting SeaWorld before heading back to Los Angeles. While in LA they walked the red carpet together at the BAFTA/LA Britannia Awards to support their Slumdog Millionaire director Danny Boyle, who spoke about the young stars' relationship, saying:
"I was a bit surprised at first, but then those things tend to pass me by! I'm delighted for them, they seem to be real soul mates... and I'm sure more than that. I'm very happy for them — it seems lovely."
