Nautical stripes were a feature in Alexa Chung's latest uber-cool outfit last night and, lets face it, Alexa and her man Alex Turner need a cool injection after the news that Alex will be appearing on Tony Christie's new album. However Richard Hawley is also involved so fingers crossed it will be a cool-aboration, not a coll-abhor-ation!

Alexa left the launch party of a new store last night looking fresh-faced as always, but I have to say I'm disappointed that her programme The Devil Wears Primark was pulled at the last moment on Sunday. Still, she'll always have her style...

I had it sky + and was gutted when I saw it was replaced with a rubbish film... something about a paddle? I'm pleased that it hasn't been pulled.. just put back until it's finished... I think it's a really important issue and I'm looking forward to hearing what they have to say about it...
