Julianne Moore and Alexander Skarsgard looked like one happy family when they premiered their new film, What Maisie Knew, in NYC last night alongside their young costar Onata Aprile. In the film, which is based on the novel by Henry James, Julianne and Alexander play husband and wife, but their relationship quickly goes sour as Julianne's rock-chick character begins to pawn off her daughter on Alexander and her ex-husband's new wife. Small-screen stars like Girls' Zosia Mamet and Game of Thrones' Natalie Dormer and Nikolaj Coster-Waldau also dropped by the screening to show support for their fellow HBO star Alexander.

Alexander Skarsgard was joined by his stylish costars at a screening for Disconnect in NYC last night. He wore a Calvin Klein suit as he posed for photos with a Gucci-clad Paula Patton and the beautiful Andrea Riseborough in a Proenza Schouler frock. Elizabeth Olsen and Winona Ryder also dropped by the screening, the latter of which cuddled up with director Henry Alex Rubin on the red carpet. The film, which opens on Friday, April 12, follows a group of unrelated characters who are all connected through their dependency on technology. Disconnect's trailer, which was released in March, earned a bit of buzz for Jason Bateman's turn in a dramatic role.

Alexander will have a full schedule as he heads into Summer. He has the premiere of What Maisie Knew, his new film costarring Julianne Moore, to look forward to in the Spring, as well as the return of True Blood on June 16. Alexander Skarsgard was joined by his costars to premiere his new film, The East, at the Sundance Film Festival on Sunday. He posed for photos with Ellen Page and director Zal Batmanglij and happily greeted Brit Marling on the red carpet while she was taking pics. Later Alexander, Ellen, and Brit got together for a few friendly portraits to promote the movie, which follows a woman who is trying to infiltrate an anarchist group and becomes infatuated with the group's leader. Anna Paquin showed off her baby bump last night at the season five premiere of True Blood in a peekaboo Rachel Comey dress. She joined her costar and husband, Stephen Moyer, along with Alexander Skarsgard, Rutina Wesley, and Joe Manganiello for the big debut at the Cinerama Dome in Hollywood. Stephen and Anna are expecting their first child together in the Fall, and on the red carpet, their cast mates raved to us about how happy they are for the pair.

Last season's finale episode was full of the series's requisite cliffhangers, and while the cast kept tight-lipped on many of the upcoming plot twists, Rutina's appearance on the carpet added fuel to the rumors that Tara isn't dead after all and will be back in Bon Temps this year. There will also be several new characters on True Blood this season. Law and Order alum Christopher Meloni will appear as the head of the Authority, and there are several werewolves, vampires, and humans joining the cast. Brooklyn Decker, Rihanna, and Alexander Skarsgard hit the blue carpet in LA last night for the West Coast premiere of Battleship. The ladies headed west after a big start to the week in NYC, where they both attended Monday's Met Gala. Brooklyn wore Tory Burch to the Big Apple fashion fest, while Rihanna donned a crocodile-print Tom Ford.

Battleship isn't out until next Friday, but the gang have been all over the world doing press for the last month. Brooklyn, Alexander, and costar Taylor Kitsch brought the picture to Europe, then Rihanna linked up for a quick tour of Asia and a stop in Hawaii for the junket. Brooklyn's doing double-duty, too, since her What to Expect When You're Expecting comes out the same day as her movie with Alexander and Rihanna!

Rihanna joined her Battleship costars Alexander Skarsgard, Taylor Kitsch, and Brooklyn Decker, as well as director Peter Berg, at Friday's photocall for the film. The stars returned to Hawaii, where they shot the movie last Summer, for the US press junket. They posed in front of Pearl Harbor's USS Missouri Memorial with naval vet Gregory D. Rihanna flashed her midriff for the photo op. She also shows skin in her new video, which is out today. "Where Have You Been" is already a hit on the charts, and with Rihanna in a bikini, the video is sure to be just as popular. Rihanna, Brooklyn, Alexander, and Taylor head back to the mainland next week and are expected to attend an LA premiere on May 10 before the May 18 opening.

A Versace-clad Scarlett Johansson joined Robert Downey Jr., Chris Hemsworth, Samuel L. Jackson, and several other big superhero names at last night's premiere of The Avengers at the El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood. We were live on the red carpet, bringing you our interviews with the heroes of the new Marvel movie and capturing all the star-studded arrivals. The film's boldfaced cast also includes Mark Ruffalo, who had his lovely wife Sunrise Coigney on his arm at the debut, Tom Hiddleston, and Jeremy Renner, to name just a few. Stellan Skarsgård, who has a small role in the film, was also in attendance with his son Alexander Skarsgård close by.

On the carpet, Scarlett told us that if she had her character Black Widow's powers of interrogation, she'd probably use her skills to grill George Clooney for all his secrets. Meanwhile, new dad Robert Downey Jr., who was there with his wife Susan Downey, spoke about feeling great since the birth of their son Exton earlier this year. The Avengers is one of the most anticipated movies of 2012, but the year's biggest box office hit — The Hunger Games — came up several times during the evening. Chris Hemsworth spoke about his little brother Liam Hemsworth's success with the blockbuster, and Jeremy Renner — whose character Hawkeye is an expert with the bow and arrow — told us he thinks he'd easily take Katniss in an archery competition.

Rihanna, dressed in blue and gold Pucci, joined her Battleship costars Brooklyn Decker, Alexander Skarsgard, and Taylor Kitsch today at the film's world premiere in Tokyo. Rihanna debuted her darker hair color yesterday at a press conference aboard the USS George Washington in Yokosuka. The stars were whisked back to Japan's capital via helicopter following the press event. Rihanna and Brooklyn tweeted photos and shared their bird's eye view over the city before turning in for the night. The press tour continues for the cast before heading back to the States prior to the film's May 18 opening.

This is Rihanna's first major film role, and it seems she's already eyeing another part. Rihanna's interested in playing Whitney Houston if the right opportunity should come her way. She said, "That's a huge, huge role and whoever does it has to do a good job."

Rihanna's new black hair was on display this morning at a Battleship photocall in Japan. She joined director Peter Berg on the USS George Washington in Yokosuka. Rihanna's costars Brooklyn Decker, Alexander Skarsgard, and Taylor Kitsch were also on hand. It's the latest press stop for the cast. Brooklyn and Alexander took the action picture, which hits theaters on May 18, to Europe last month and attended press events in Madrid, Barcelona, and Hamburg. Promotion for the movie will bring the gang home to the US ahead of its big debut.
