Stars of TV and radio braved the British weather yesterday for the Television And Radio Industries Club (TRIC) Awards 2008 held at London's Grosvenor House Hotel. The female stars stuck to their glamorous plans and arrived in a beautiful array of dresses, with lots of jewel tones brightening up the dreary weather outside: Roxanne Pallet rocked red, Kate Garraway chose orange, and Kym Ryder went bold with blue. EastEnders girls Tiana Benjamin, Belinda Owusu and Kara Tointon made a terrific trio in their colourful outfits, and even the more mature couple of Neil and Christine Hamilton embraced brightness. I'm loving Rolf Harris' scarf — I want one!
Tess Daly went for pattern rather than colour in her monochrome ensemble (while her husband Vernon Kay kept it casual) and Emma Griffiths stood out for dressing all in black with a biker theme (I wonder if her fiancé Matt Willis was too busy with court cases to attend?). Also dressed all in black, Patsy Kensit drew attention to herself for all the wrong reasons — her sheer dress was the talk of the ceremony apparently!
