In addition to the innovator being honored, it was a big night for the editorial staff at the magazine — WSJ's new editor Kristina O'Neill, formerly of Harper's Bazaar, was in attendance, too. Mary-Kate and Ashley's line The Row was recognized by WSJ. for being the fashion innovator of the year, and their statue was presented by the Tribeca Film Festival's cofounder Jane Rosenthal.
MK and Ashley Olsen Win Big and Join Zoe, Julianne, Kate Bosworth, and More at CFDA Awards
Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen won womenswear designers of the year for their work on The Row at last night's CFDA Awards in NYC. MK debuted a darker 'do to match her all-black look, while Ashley mixed things up with a pretty purple number from their award-winning line for the exciting evening. The celebrated twins were joined by some of the biggest names in fashion, including Rachel Zoe, Kate Bosworth, and Zoe Saldana. Rachel was in a dress of her own design and tweeted a photo of herself and husband Rodger Berman looking dapper as they stepped out to the event. Zoe Saldana's Prabal Gurung gown was particularly jaw-dropping, while Jessica Chastain donned her own girly concoction from the same designer. Busy Philipps looked sexy in her tight pants number, while Julianne showed some skin in her red Kaufman Franco bit. Fashionologie was on the scene for all the action, so check out the CFDA red-carpet and behind-the-scenes highlights, and stay tuned for lots more action from the big night!

Mad Men's Jessica Paré is making quite the splash on the fashion scene this Spring, and she was once again looking stunning as she presented Reed Krakoff with his accessories designer of the year award. Jessica was coming off a shocking Mad Med episode on Sunday night to lead into this weekend's season finale. As for the other Jessica at the CFDA show, Jessica Chastain was one of two ladies looking lovely in Prabal Gurung. Zoe Saldana's daring cutout black gown was the sexy to Chastain's sweet Prabal concoction. Ashley Olsen Supports the Arts and Snaps Up Another CFDA Nomination
Ashley Olsen joined actors Emmy Rossum and Ben McKenzie at the Santa Monica Museum of Art's Precognito Gala last night. The preview event featured more than 650 original artworks from experienced and emerging contemporary artists. The museum encouraged guests to trust their instincts in selecting pieces, as each work was signed on the back and the artist's identity revealed only after making a purchase.
Ashley's becoming somewhat of an artist in her own area of design. Fashion's 2012 CFDA nominees were announced today with Ashley and Mary-Kate earning a nod for The Row in the womenswear designer of the year category. MK and Ashley will be in competition against their contemporary peers Marc Jacobs, Proenza Schouler's Jack McCollough, and Lazaro Hernandez when the winners are announced in June. Johnny Depp was also among the list of honorees and will be recognized with the fashion icon award.
Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen Pack a Blond Punch in the Front Row at FW
Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen were the latest celebrities at Fashion Week as they watched the J. Mendel show in NYC this afternoon. They kicked off the stylish events at QVC's presentation last week, when they joined Camila Alves and Olivia Palermo in the front row. Mary-Kate and Ashley were the ones in the spotlight on Monday morning, though, since they showed their latest The Row collection to a select group of press at Bemelmans Bar in the Carlyle hotel. The stylish fun wraps up tomorrow, but there's still plenty of action, so make sure to check out FabSugar's NYFW coverage.
Mary-Kate and Ashley Model The Row at an Event For Olsenboye
Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen stepped out in NYC this morning for an exclusive JCPenney event held at Pier 57. The designers dressed in shades of black and gray, with each sister carrying one of their own luxury handbags from The Row. They were on hand to support their lower-priced brand, Olsenboye, which is sold exclusively at JCPenney.
Today's event brought out a fashionable crowd, with Charlotte Ronson. Diane von Furstenburg, and Nicole Miller also on hand. JCPenney CEO Ron Johnson was the star of the gathering, though, taking the stage to share JCP's new pricing strategy. It seems fans of Mary-Kate and Ashley's Olsenboye can look forward to picking up items at lower prices in future seasons, but they're taking the opposite approach when it comes to The Row considering the astronomical cost of their $39,000 alligator backpack.

Ashley Olsen Reunites With Bob Saget For a Special Charity Evening
Ashley Olsen showed support for her former Full House costar, Bob Saget, at the annual Cool Comedy — Hot Cuisine for Scleroderma Research Foundation event in NYC last night. Bob, who lost his sister to the disease, hosted the charity evening, which featured performances from comedians Seth Meyers, Colin Quinn, and Jeff Ross. Mary-Kate wasn't on hand for the fundraiser this year, but she and Ashley did their part to help out by donating tickets to a The Row fashion show for the live auction. Also up for grabs was the chance to see the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show, which is being taped tomorrow. We'll be at the annual runway extravaganza, though the full sexy soiree won't air until the end of the month.
Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen Support Their Sister Elizabeth at a Bash in NYC
Rising star Elizabeth Olsen had her two older sisters Mary-Kate and Ashley on either side to celebrate her Nylon magazine cover in NYC last night. The trio of Olsen girls posed together and chatted at their table during the event. Elizabeth is on the November issue cover, which showcases just one of her recent photo shoots, since she's also included in the Elle Women in Hollywood issue with Jennifer Aniston on the cover. Mary-Kate and Ashley are back in Manhattan after a trip to Paris Fashion Week where they showed their Row handbag collection and checked out the runways including Kanye West's first-ever show. Now that it's October, MK and Ashley's focus has shifted to Halloween, and the Olsen twins donned a series of silly costumes for their latest Style Mint video. Lizzie, meanwhile, is still making the festival rounds for Martha Marcy May Marlene with the Lincoln Center premiere coming up next week.
