Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen sat side by side earlier today at J. Mendel's show during New York Fashion Week. The designing duo are winding down a hectic few days that included supporting their Olsenboye collection at JCPenny's FNO bash and debuting their latest designs from The Row. Also in attendance at today's event was new mom Selma Blair, whom Ashley greeted with a big hug. While MKO and Ashley are busy with Fashion Week, their younger sister, Elizabeth, made her own style statement at the Toronto Film Festival. Elizabeth, the star of the independent film Martha Marcy May Marlene, wowed at her red-carpet premiere in a floral Erdem gown. However, for Elizabeth's October GQ spread, she wore just a lace bra and silk pajamas.
Mary-Kate and Ashley Kick Off FNO With an Appearance at JCPenney
Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen looked chic in black blazers as they walked the pink carpet at JCPenney in NYC early this evening. The mass retailer's Fashion's Night Out event, cohosted by People StyleWatch, is one of dozens happening in the Big Apple and across the United States tonight as Fashion Week kicks into full gear. The designers took a brief break to swing by the party, as they prep for their line The Row to show tomorrow. The sisters' high-end collection is just one of several stylish endeavors they're pursuing. In addition to recently launching Stylemint and a collaboration with TOMS, their contemporary collections Elizabeth + James and TEXTILE: Elizabeth + James continue to be successful. Ashley and Mary-Kate aren't the only celebrities-turned-designers who will be presenting their latest creations during Fashion Week — Victoria Beckham is also on the East Coast with baby Harper, as she gets ready to unveil her latest self-titled collection. The site, which offers members products designed by Mary-Kate and Ashley, features new tees each month, and now, the sisters are launching a contest to see who is most t-worthy. Happy 25th, Mary-Kate & Ashley!
Tomorrow, June 13th, marks the day two fashionistas — Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen — entered this world 25 years ago. And we're glad they did! We can't imagine life without their distinctive, covetable style. While Mary-Kate stays true to her bohemian-chic style roots — rocking oversize printed dresses, tons of jewelry, and John Lennon-style sunnies — Ashley makes the most of her minimalist polish; nobody can kill a white button-down or Calvin Klein sheath dress like her. They're entrepreneurs, respected designers, and true style stars; and on Monday they turn a mere 25. They've accomplished so much already, it's hard to believe they're only four years beyond the legal drinking age. Let's all wish our favorite twins a happy 25th by checking out their most interesting and innovative outfits through the years.

The Olsens, Jessica, Miranda, Ashley, and More Step Out For Colorful CFDA Awards
The 2011 CFDA Fashion Awards were a colorful affair at the Lincoln Center in NYC last night. The evening honored designers from Alexander Wang to Proenza Schouler — check out the full list of CFDA Fashion Awards winners on Fashionologie. Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen earned their first nomination for The Row, though it was Prabal Gurung that took home the Swarovski award for womenswear. MK and Ashley were both decked out in their own line when it came to dresses and bags, with Mary-Kate adding a Chanel jacket to complete the look. Jessica Alba was summery in Diane von Furstenberg while both Miranda Kerr and Ashley Greene looked fabulous in Michael Kors.
Naomi Watts and Kerry Washington both wore custom Calvin Klein collections and Alessandra Ambrosio was decked out in Prabal Gurung. The supermodel twittered her excitement when Gurung took home the honors. Kirsten Dunst kept things classically tailored in a Patrik Ervell tuxedo. Lady Gaga sported a bright green wig and some insanely high heels while heading in to be recognized during the show for her fashion icon status. Anderson Cooper played host for the evening and was joined by some other stylish men, including Kanye West and Gerard Butler.

Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen Check In With Their NYC Designer Friends
Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen joined Diane von Furstenberg yesterday for the CFDA's biannual membership meeting held at DvF's studios. The girls are longtime members of the designer organization, though they were nominated for their first award from the CFDA just a few months ago. Mary-Kate and Ashley are in the Big Apple focusing on their fashion endeavors while their little sister, Elizabeth Olsen, appeared at the Cannes Film Festival. Lizzy showed support for her siblings by sporting two outfits from The Row to press appearances on behalf of her film Martha Marcy May Marlene. Her gown and flat sandals combo is already starting trends while other Olsen fans are wanting to try Lizzy's unique hairstyles.
Met Gala: Ashley Olsen
Ashley Olsen didn't wear her own design to the Met Gala, instead opting for a piece of black and cream vintage Christian Dior couture with billowing sleeves and a huge slit up the side. To make the design a little more understated, she kept her hair in a simple updo and wore natural-looking makeup. Wearing vintage Dior sounds like a dream, but do you think it looked good on Ashley?
