Best of 2008: James McAvoy is PopUK's Favourite British Male

Throughout December you've been voting for your favourites of the year and I've been announcing the winners, and now it's time for the final award: favourite British male of 2008.

There are lots of great guys in this category, so I struggled to narrow down the choice to ten. Most of the finalists received a similar number of votes, but one edged in to the lead to be crowned winner: James McAvoy.

The Scottish actor has had an award-winning year, and I can't wait to see what he does in 2009.
