At the start of the month I asked you all to vote for your favourites of 2009, and last week I started to announce the winners!

Some Brits just didn't fit into all the categories — presenters, reality stars, judges and chefs — so I grouped them all together and asked you who your favourite British personality is. The winner was Katie Price, who won the category with 30% of the total votes, thanks to her appearance on I'm a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here, and her part in one of the biggest headlines of 2009. David Beckham came in second place with 20% of the vote, leaving Russell Brand and Simon Cowell tied for third with 10% each!
