Country stars from all over the US got together in Las Vegas last night for the Academy of Country Music Awards. Taylor Swift looked stunning in a gold Dolce & Gabbana gown as she worked her stuff on the red carpet alongside stars like Sheryl Crow and Keith Urban. Carrie Underwood made a big statement in a red Naeem Khan frock, while Faith Hill went for a simple black number to pose in front of photographers with husband Tim McGraw. Inside the event, Taylor got giddy when she got a chance to meet Shania Twain and John Mayer sang with Brad Paisley in one of his first live performances since he has battled vocal cord problems.

Big winners at the ACM Awards included Miranda Lambert, who nabbed awards for female vocalist of the year, single record of the year, and song of the year with husband Blake Shelton. Miranda broke down in tears during her acceptance speeches, saying that she was "rooting for Carrie Underwood" for the female vocalist award. Other winners included Little Big Town and Luke Bryan, who won entertainer of the year and also cohosted the event with Blake.

Music's biggest names gathered in LA on Sunday for the Grammy Awards, and the red carpet was full of famous ladies. Nominee and performer Taylor Swift went Grecian in J. Mendel, while Adele chose a bright red number. Jennifer Lopez showed plenty of skin in a slitted gown as she arrived on the arm of boyfriend Casper Smart, and Carrie Underwood posed for the cameras in Roberto Cavalli. Rihanna, who performed during the show, made a sexy appearance in a sheer red custom Azzedine Alaïa, and Katy Perry went green in Gucci. She posed solo when she wasn't with pal Allison Williams. Beyoncé switched things up in a black-and-white jumpsuit from Osman by Osman Yousefzada, and there were so many more looks to see. Country stars were joined by their Hollywood friends last night for the third annual American Country Awards in Las Vegas. Hosts Kristin Chenoweth and Trace Adkins, who hosted last year's event too, made a hilarious entrance when they walked on stage with Trace carrying tiny Kristin in a pink baby sling. Kristin made multiple costume changes throughout the night, even changing into a sexy Santa costume to celebrate the Christmas season.

Big winners for the night included Miranda Lambert, who took home a single of the year award and a music video of the year award, and Carrie Underwood, who won the single of the year and female artist of the year prizes. This has been a busy month for Carrie, who we last saw at the taping of CMT's Artist of the Year celebration.

Carrie Underwood, dressed in a sexy jumpsuit from designer Katharine Kidd, stepped out with her husband, Mike Fisher, in Franklin, TN, last night for the taping of CMT's Artist of the Year celebration. The special was hosted by Nashville's Hayden Panettiere and country group Rascal Flatts. CMT hasn't announced this year's honorees, though the top-secret list will finally be revealed when the show airs Dec. 8 at 10 p.m./9 p.m. C.

Carrie was all smiles on the carpet and took to the stage inside. She's been on the road recently performing songs from her latest album, Blown Away, and she just landed a new role in front of the cameras. Carrie's been cast to play Maria in The Sound of Music musical headed to NBC.

Miranda Lambert hit the red carpet, though her number one guy, Blake Shelton, missed out due to scheduling. Blake was tied up on the West Coast shooting The Voice and cheering on his two remaining contestants, Terry McDermott and Cassadee Pope. Sheryl Crow was also on hand for CMT's event and looked lovely in a floor-length black gown.

Many of music's biggest names stepped out at the American Music Awards in LA tonight. The ladies, including Kelly Rowland, Christina Aguilera, and Nicki Minaj, brought the glamour with their red-carpet looks. Performer and nominee Taylor Swift sparkled in a Zuhair Murad mini while Pink, who arrived with husband Carey Hart, went long in Catherine Deane. Carrie Underwood chose a colorful lace look by Abed Mahfouz before taking the stage to perform during the show. Gwen Stefani switched things up in an embellished Balmain jacket and leather leggings as she arrived with her No Doubt bandmates, and Jordin Sparks showed skin in a cutout Etro gown on the arm of boyfriend Jason Derulo. Justin Bieber brought his mom to the show after spending time with on-again girlfriend Selena Gomez over the weekend. Taylor Swift and Carrie Underwood shined on the Country Music Association Awards red carpet, then headed inside Nashville's Bridgestone Arena to honor the genre's best music of the year. Carrie shared hosting honors with Brad Paisley, and the duo ran a joke-filled show that even included a "Gangnam Style" spoof. Neither Carrie nor Taylor ended up taking home a prize, but both took the stage to perform. Faith Hill, Tim McGraw, and Nashville's Connie Britton and Hayden Panettiere were on hand, too.

Many stars were thrilled with their victories. Miranda Lambert got emotional when she and husband Blake Shelton won song of the year for their duet, "Over You." Blake was the evening's biggest winner with a total of three new statues, and was also crowned entertainer of the year.

Carrie Underwood took the stage at Rockefeller Plaza to perform on Today this morning. She was up extraearly to prep for the appearance, tweeting, "Who woke up at 2:30 this morning? I did, that's who!" Carrie has been on the go as she gears up for the North American leg of her Blown Away tour, which kicks off on the East Coast in September. She was in Canada over the weekend, where she played at the Boots and Hearts Country Music Festival and threw the opening pitch at a NY Yankees game against the Blue Jays. Carrie did have a break from work late last month, though, when she spent a day at Disney's Animal Kingdom with her husband, Mike Fisher. Carrie recently spoke about Mike, saying, "I never thought guys like Mike actually existed! He loves me and all of my craziness!"

The CMT Awards went down in Nashville last night, with Kristen Bell and country artist Toby Keith serving as hosts. Kristen wore Reem Acra and posed with Dax Shephard, her fiancé, before the show commenced. Other famous ladies of country, like Carrie Underwood, Miranda Lambert, and Hillary Scott took the stage as well. Miranda hung out backstage, too, catching a moment with pals Kenny Chesney and Grace Potter.

Kristen and Toby presided as awards were handed out to many of country's biggest names. Lady Antebellum and Miranda Lambert won at the CMTs. Group video of the year honors went to Lady Antebellum, while Miranda accepted her third consecutive female video of the year award. The 2012 Billboard Music Awards brought plenty of famous faces to the MGM Grand in Las Vegas Sunday. LMFAO, who won six awards, opened the show before hosts Julie Bowen and Ty Burrell took the stage. A variety of artists including The Wanted and Kelly Clarkson, introduced by Robin Thicke, had their turn in the spotlight. Carrie Underwood, who brought husband Mike Fisher, performed "Blown Away" in a glamorous red dress, while Natasha Bedingfield sang a tribute to the late Donna Summer. Katy Perry rocked the crowd with the debut of her new single, "Wide Awake," and Usher brought "Scream" to the stage.

Justin Bieber took the microphone as well with "Boyfriend." Jordin Sparks shared a moving rendition of "I Will Always Love You," honoring Whitney Houston, after John Legend kicked it off with "The Greatest Love of All." Bobbi Kristina then accepted the millennium award for her mom, saying, "I'm just blessed to have been in such an incredible woman's life." There were many more statues given out this evening with Julianne Hough presenting Justin with top social artist. New Girl's Zooey Deschanel was on hand to introduce Billboard's woman of the year, Taylor Swift.
