Cheryl Cole arrived in LA this weekend to try and keep her mind off her marriage troubles. Bandmates Kimberley Walsh and Nicola Roberts were also Stateside supporting their girl (and shopping! and clashing skin tones!), before the band takes to the stage at the Brit Awards on Wednesday — they're up for Best British Group. While it's all smiles on the professional front, it seems Cheryl's private life is getting even worse, as the Geordie has been spotted minus her wedding ring. It's good to see that she still managed a smile though, as she took a stroll in the LA sunshine.
Although it may come as small consolation, Cheryl's popularity with men's magazine readers has soared since her relationship woes came out: she is apparently hovering around the top five in FHM's Sexiest Woman in the World 2008 poll, having come seventh last year (voting continues until April). That accolade would surely be higher on Cheryl's wants list than the other award she was recently nominated for...
