Last night's annual Crystal + Lucy Women in Film Awards brought out many of Hollywood's most famous leading ladies. Meryl Streep was on hand to award her good friend, The Help star Viola Davis, with the Excellence in Film statue. The 2012 award season saw no rivalry between Viola and The Iron Lady's Meryl — though Meryl won the Oscar, Viola took home a SAG Award. There's only love between the former Doubt costars, and Meryl praised Viola last night by calling her "a lion-hearted woman." Other ladies picking up honors were Christina Applegate and Chloe Moretz, who donned Max Mara for a Crystal + Lucy kickoff party on Sunday evening. Max Mara, a sponsor of the awards, outfitted many of the women on the carpet, including Viola, Meryl, Christina, and How I Met Your Mother's Cobie Smulders. Jenna Dewan-Tatum added more color to the proceedings in a teal jumpsuit.
Christina Applegate Welcomes Daughter Sadie Grace
Christina Applegate has given birth to a girl. The actress and her musician fiancé, Martyn LeNoble, welcomed Sadie Grace LeNoble last Thursday in LA. A spokesperson said in a statement: "Mother and daughter are doing great." Sadie weighed 7lbs 8oz.
A few weeks ago, Christina tweeted: "Believe me, I am asking the same question "holy cr*p, is that chick still pregnant?" It takes almost 10 months to make a person FYI".
Christina revealed she was expecting back in July, and was one of several stars to announce a pregnancy last year. We watched her bump grow as she attended her film premiere, took part in charity fundraisers, enjoyed beach time, and relaxed with Martyn.
Congrats to Christina and Martyn!
Gwyneth Paltrow, Sofia Vergara, and Ryan Seacrest Stand Up to Cancer Together
Vanessa Hudgens, Kristen Bell, and Mandy Moore walked the red carpet on Friday before heading in to take their seats at the Stand Up 2 Cancer phone banks in LA. The hour-long telethon was broadcast on multiple major US networks and streamed across the web, and the effort raised more than $100 million dollars for research in the fight against the disease. Modern Family's Sofia Vergara and mum-to-be Christina Applegate, both of whom battled cancer in the past, proudly modelled t-shirts that read "Survivor."
Gwyneth Paltrow arrived on the West Coast on Thursday, ready to add her support to the event after attending Fashion's Night Out in London last week. She caught up with Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, while Rob Lowe joined Diane Lane. Cindy Crawford, and Chuck's Zachary Levi helped in collecting donations, and fresh-from-Mexico Ryan Seacrest also lent his star power to the cause. Contributions to the charity are still being accepted, and they're even open to making good use of Facebook credits!

Drew and Justin Go The Distance In LA With Kate and Pregnant Christina
The UK premiere of Going the Distance took place last Thursday, and last night Drew Barrymore and Justin Long walked the red carpet in LA for the US premiere. The twosome looked happy on the red carpet, despite Drew not being willing to go into whether they're on or off at the moment. Kate Beckinsale and her hubby Len Wiseman came out to support Drew, as did Drew and Justin's costar Christina Applegate, who showed off her baby bump in a gorgeous purple dress.

Trend Alert: Pink Lipstick at the 2010 SAG Awards
On Saturday evening, the hottest actresses from film and television gathered in Hollywood for the 2010 Screen Actors Guild Awards. The ladies looked elegant and lovely strutting down the red carpet with updo's, loose waves and perfect makeup. I noticed that practically everyone's eyes were lined in some version of black or navy, and shadow was either neutral or smoky, but what changed the most when it came to their cosmetics was lipstick. Check out some of the sexiest SAG Awards pouts from Kate Hudson, Kyra Sedgwick, Christina Applegate, Vera Farmiga, Michelle Monagan and Dianna Agron, and let me know which colour you like most!

The red carpet was awash with bright colours at the SAG Awards in Los Angeles on Saturday night. British legend Helen Mirren was joined by one of Britain's rising stars Carey Mulligan, who was one of many women opting for red dresses to match the red carpet. Make sure you vote on all Fab US and Bella US's love it or leave it polls on all the outfits and beauty looks from the starry evening!

Gorgeous Gals and Guys Walk the Emmy Awards Red Carpet
Stars of the small screen flocked to the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles yesterday for the Primetime Emmy Awards. Our own Brits Cat Deeley and Ricky Gervais joined their American pals for the glamourous ceremony, which saw the guys stick to black suits and the women dazzle in an array of colouful dresses. Cat went for a pale floor-length number, while Gossip Girl buddies Leighton Meester and Blake Lively took opposite approaches with white and red. Heidi Klum showed off her baby bump in a tight black dress, while Drew Barrymore opted for a fairytale-style gown. Vote on all the fashion choices and beauty looks in Fab and Bella's polls.
