The Backstage Lowdown You Haven't Seen Yet From Burberry!

Yesterday was a very exciting day.
Burberry Prorsum Autumn Winter 2012 Unique Photos

Yesterday was a very exciting day. Not only did the sun finally come out (despite the bitter cold), but it was Burberry Fashion Show day. I consider this the end all be all of celebrity spotting, gorgeous British tailoring and envy-worthy accessories shows to watch.

Not only was I backstage getting you all of the amazing details on the beauty looks, but I also attended the show and got to get the full picture of the front of the house and see the jaw dropping bow-enhanced, rich collection full of tweeds, velvets, peplums, teals, olives, greys, burgundys and chocolate brown pieces. The studded gloves and clutch in black and gold was the highlight for me along with a deep aubergine coat modeled by Cara Delevigne. Well, the coat, along with watching big sister Poppy smiling proudly and taking pictures of her little sister walking down the catwalk!

Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, Rupert Grint, and the extended cast of Harry Potter came together in London's Trafalgar Square today to premiere the final installment of the saga, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2. Emma arrived in a beautiful floor-length Oscar de la Renta gown and raced over to greet fans and sign autographs before taking her place on the red carpet. Her best friends in the film, Rupert and Daniel, followed closely behind, also thanking fans and posing for pictures. The principle cast took the stage with J.K. Rowling and spoke to the audience of millions watching across the globe. Daniel first thanked fans and the cast and went on to say, "This isn't the end as fans will carry this story with them through the rest of their lives."

Emma then took to the podium and professed her love for her costars and especially Rupert and Daniel, saying, "Dan didn't get lucky, you were and are the perfect Harry and will be forever" and thanked "Rupert for making me laugh, I'll miss you so much," then broke down into tears before thanking J.K. for playing such a "great role model" in her life. Rupert was the final of the trio to take the mic, saying a simple "I love you" to the fans and crew and thanking J.K for everything she's done "for ginger people." It was a day full of mixed emotions for all of those involved with the franchise, and J.K. even joked, "I should write another one!" before wrapping up the event with her final words, saying, "Hogwarts will always be there to welcome you home."

Images can be deceiving and this week, Karl Lagerfeld has been trying to put one rumour to rest. He talked to Harper's Bazaar US saying,

"Apparently, I am very scary. But if you get to know me, you see I am very nice. Happily, I don't look like I am."

He shot both Anna Mouglalis and Clémence Poésy for the publication in a blood thirsty shoot! When asked about fashion's biggest bloodsuckers, Karl simply stated, "Boring people." You can see images from the shoot below where the girls pose in Vera Wang and Dior.
