The trio kicked off press together last month with stops in London and Paris, and also appeared at the Britannia Awards in Beverly Hills last week.

Skyfall hits theaters Down Under on Nov. 22, but the action movie is already making its mark on US and European box offices. Stars hit the red carpet at the 2012 BAFTA Los Angeles Britannia Awards at The Beverly Hilton Hotel last night. Daniel Craig was joined by his Skyfall Bond girls, Bérénice Marlohe and Naomie Harris, but it was his wife, Rachel Weisz, who he leaned in to kiss before picking up the British artist of the year honor.

Daniel Day-Lewis was also in attendance, and after Steven Spielberg presented him with the Stanley Kubrick Award for Excellence in Film, he took advantage of his stage time to show off his funny side. Daniel thanked BAFTA with a spoof of Clint Eastwood's conversation with an empty chair at the Republican National Convention. The comical speech was somewhat unexpected from Daniel, who is best known for his serious roles, including Spielberg's Lincoln, which hits theaters next week. The Britannia Awards will be broadcast on BBC America Nov. 11 at 8 p.m. ET as a two-hour special.

Daniel Craig and Javier Bardem Show Bond's New Interest in Beer

Daniel Craig and Javier Bardem had fun at an interview in Paris yesterday.

Daniel Craig and Javier Bardem had fun at an interview in Paris yesterday. The Skyfall duo swung by the studio for Le Grand Journal to chat about the latest installment of Bond, and also managed to poke fun at Bond's new preference for Heineken by toasting with two beers. Daniel spoke about Bond trading martinis for beer in October's Vanity Fair. He said, "Product placement, whichever way you look at it . . . it's what it is. Heineken gave us a ton of money for there to be Heineken in a shot in a bar. So, how easy is that? Just to say, OK, there's Heineken. It's there — it's in the back of the shot. Without them, the movie couldn't get sold." Javier and Daniel had a busy day of promotions to do following the Paris premiere of Skyfall on Wednesday night. They linked up with their leading lady Bérénice Marlohe for a photocall at a Paris hotel as well.
