Lights, camera, makeup! The Victoria's Secret Fashion Show is taking over NYC today, and the Angels have been busy prepping all day for the biggest night in lingerie. Karlie Kloss, Cara Delevingne, Alessandra Ambrosio, Adriana Lima, and more slipped into their pink robes and primped behind the curtains — but there was plenty of time for fun, too! In the shuffle of last-minute blowouts and fittings, the ladies posed for photos, shared a few laughs for the cameras, and even snapped their own sexy moments for social media. Take a look at all the action before the Angels rocked the catwalk with Fall Out Boy and Taylor Swift, and make sure to watch the whole show when it airs on CBS Dec. 10.
It was all about Summer fun for some of our favourite style stars this week as they took to social media to share their moments of work and play. Doutzen Kroes, Hilary Rhoda, Chanel Iman, and more models slipped into bikinis to bask in the sun, while Alexa Chung opted to stay in the city. Work duties called for Emma Roberts, who got glamorous to promote We're the Millers in NYC, as well as Cara Delevingne, who spent time on set in a wig. Speaking of hair, Coco Rocha got rid of most of hers — she chopped her mane into an edgy pixie cut and shared photos and video of the event on Instagram!
This week, it was all about sunglasses, bare feet, and bike rides as our fashionable favourites kicked off Summer in a very stylish way. Lena Dunham, Alessandra Ambrosio, and Margherita Missoni all showed off their killer shades, while Bar Refaeli kept things bright with a technicolour bikini by the pool. Brad Goreski hit the park with his pups in NYC, and Nicky Hilton got herself around on a bike in London. Behati Prinsloo showed off her bare feet after a day spent walking around the city, while her fellow model Doutzen Kroes shared a bedhead selfie that begs the question: "Why don't we look that good in the morning?" Between work, play, and CFDA Awards fun, our favourite fashion fixtures made sure to share their stylish snaps through social media. There was lots of time outdoors — Nicky Hilton checked out a new form of NYC transportation, while Lily Cole got back to nature and posed with an adorable baby giraffe. Poppy Delevingne also had a blast outside, and got some serious air while jumping on a trampouline. Rihanna's "all white everything" look made us green with envy, and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley's '70s-inspired look was right on the money. Jennifer Lawrence dressed up in a Dior gown to hit the red carpet at the Cannes Film Festival for the Jimmy P.: Psychotherapy of a Plains Indian premiere tonight. She was joined by her Catching Fire crew: Liam Hemsworth, Sam Claflin, and director Francis Lawrence. Also in attendance to show their support for Jimmy P., which stars Benicio del Toro, were Calvin Klein-clad Doutzen Kroes; Eva Longoria, who wore Atelier Versace; and Jane Fonda. Steven Spielberg, who is serving as one of the jurors at this year's festival, was joined by wife Kate Capshaw for the glamorous event at the Palais des Festivals.
It was quite the day for Jennifer and her men, who were busy promoting their own film in Cannes this morning. Jennifer, Liam, and Sam posed for a Catching Fire photocall after Liam hit the town last night for the Belvedere bash.
The Victoria's Secret Fashion Show went down in NYC on Nov. 8, with appearances from their most famous Angels, Miranda Kerr, Alessandra Ambrosio, and Adriana Lima — and all the airs Dec. 4 on CBS!
Miranda, Alessandra, and Adriana were joined by a handful of newcomers on the runway, including Cara Delevingne and Jessica Hart. The models strutted their stuff on the runway in six separate sections. Adriana opened the first portion, which had a "Circus" theme featuring acrobats and performers on mini Segways. Earlier in the day, Miranda Kerr told us backstage she was most excited for the circus bit. She said, "I'm amazed at what they can do with their bodies!"
The five following sections included "Dangerous Liaisons," "Calendar Girls," "Pink Is Us," "Silver Screen Angels," and "Angels in Bloom" motifs. There were a handful of memorable ensembles — Alessandra modeled the 2012 Fantasy Bra, covered in $2.5 million worth of gems, while Miranda donned a Swarovski-embellished corset. Doutzen Kroes seemed to be having a great time in a pink pom-pom ensemble, and Karlie Kloss was tasked with wearing a pair of target wings. Lily Aldridge, whose Kings of Leon rocker husband, Caleb Followill, was in the front row, took a turn down the runway in a patriotic flag skirt.
The front row was packed with celebrities. Vanessa Hudgens, Alexa Chung, and Lily's husband, Caleb, were on hand to cheer for their friends and witness the spectacle, as well as the performances. In addition to the Angels, Justin Bieber, Rihanna, and Bruno Mars took the stage. Justin performed two songs with a spirited group of backup dancers. It was Rihanna, though, who may have stolen the show. She closed out the final section, and it was hard to keep one's eyes off of her long enough to see the Angels take a final turn.
The Victoria's Secret Fashion Show took place in NYC last night, and the Angels got together to celebrate a job well done afterward! Alessandra Ambrosio and Miranda Kerr were among the supermodels who posed on the pink carpet at the NYC club Lavo. They were joined by close friends Adriana Lima, Erin Heatherton, Doutzen Kroes, and many more. The bash offered a chance for the girls to let loose after weeks of rigorous training and dieting to hit the runway. Lily Aldridge, who welcomed a baby girl five months ago, tweeted a photo of sliders and fries with the caption, "Come to mama!" Isabeli Fontana had told us earlier in the day that she was most looking forward to celebratory Champagne at the party. There were plenty of celebs on hand to toast with the Angels, including Vanessa Hudgens, Jessica Szohr, Russell Simmons, and designer Alexander Wang. The show's musical guests, Rihanna and Justin Bieber, also stopped by Lavo for a fun end to the exciting day.
Kate Bosworth stuck close to fiancé Michael Polish's side during their latest NY Fashion Week outing to see the Theyskens' Theory Spring 2013 collection yesterday. Model Doutzen Kroes was also on hand for the presentation while designer Olivier Theyskens took time to pose with Kate as well. The couple, who recently got engaged, has been busy attending shows since the stylish fun kicked off last week. Kate's diamond ring has been on display as she makes the rounds, and she's also been sharing her own snaps from events. Lots of celebrities have been posting behind-the-scenes pictures from Fashion Week on Twitter and Instagram, and there's more to come as the front-row excitement continues until Sept. 13.
Zac Efron and Taylor Schilling teamed up last night at the Cinema Society and Men's Health screening of The Lucky One in NYC. Zac is the magazine's latest cover star, and though the publication is geared toward guys, he had the support of plenty of women yesterday. His leading ladies Taylor and Blythe Danner shared the spotlight with him, while Nicky Hilton and model Doutzen Kroes likewise stopped by to see the film. One of the most important women in Zac's life — his mother, Starla — has also had a chance to watch the movie. Last night, Zac said he felt awkward during the love scenes when Starla joined him for a recent screening. Zac admitted that he even tried to sneak out of the theater during the hot-and-heavy moments.
Adriana Lima was in a festive mood this morning at a Victoria's Secret event in NYC. Along with her fellow Angels Doutzen Kroes and Lindsay Ellingson, Adriana helped launch their Valentine's Day campaign. The holiday has translated into a lot of work for Adriana. She starred in one of the most memorable — and controversial — Super Bowl spots. Her Teleflora flowers ad was called out by some game watchers for being sexist and too racy. Adriana Lima's Valentine's Day plans, which aren't set in stone yet, weren't affected by the Teleflora furor. Whatever she does, she plans to look great. She told us, "I haven't figured it all out yet, but it has to be something tight and sexy."
