Kerry Washington teamed up with her fellow ABC stars for a special bash to celebrate the upfronts in NYC last night. She wore a red Marc by Marc Jacobs leather dress as she walked the black carpet alongside stars like Rebel Wilson, Hayden Panettiere, and the Modern Family cast. Hayden wore a purple Herve Leger dress and flashed a diamond ring inside the bash with boyfriend Wladimir Klitschko. However, despite persisting rumors that Hayden is engaged to Wladimir, she wore the ring on her right hand, not on her engagement ring finger.
Kerry's been preparing for the season finale of Scandal, which airs on Thursday. She stopped by Ellen to promote the episode, which she says ends with a "crazy" cliffhanger. Kerry added, "The season finale — the very last line of the episode, I almost couldn't get it out of my mouth."
Saturday night's White House Correspondents' Dinner gathered celebrities from New York to LA to Washington DC. There were plenty of ladies decked out in their red carpet finest, including Katy Perry in Giambattista Valli, Kerry Washington in Wes Gordon, Kate Mara in white Prada, and more. Amy Poehler also went for white, choosing a dress from Basler. Nashville's Connie Britton wore a bright blue Temperley London number, while costar Hayden Panettiere picked a yellow Katharine Kidd gown. Purple was a popular choice for Veep's Julia Louis-Dreyfus in Dolce & Gabbana dress. and Downton Abbey's Michelle Dockery in Elie Saab. The Hollywood Foreign Press Association and InStyle kicked off celebrations for the 2013 Golden Globes with a party at Cecconi's in LA last night. It was announced that Clint Eastwood's daughter Francesca will be Miss Golden Globe, and she shared her excitement about the role with us on the red carpet. Also in attendance at the bash were Diane Kruger, in a tummy-baring look, and Lea Michele, who mingled with her Glee costar Chris Colfer. John Krasinski, Jenna Dewan, and Modern Family's Eric Stonestreet made appearances as well, as did a pregnant Malin Akerman. Revenge's Christa B. Allen told us she hopes her onscreen mom, Madeleine Stowe, gets a nomination, while their costar Gabriel Mann shared that he and the rest of the cast chat about coordinating their outfits before attending the same event. It's just the beginning of the award season fun since the Golden Globes take place on Jan. 13 with Tina Fey and Amy Poehler hosting.
The American Music Awards went down in LA on Sunday night! Usher opened a show that went on to feature many performances from some of the biggest stars in the music industry. Gwen Stefani and the guys of No Doubt put on a show, as did Kelly Clarkson and Ke$ha. Taylor Swift performed her soon-to-be-released single "I Knew You Were Trouble." She changed out of the gold Zuhair Murad number she wore on the red carpet and into two elaborate costumes. Justin Bieber hit the stage too for a rendition of his songs "As Long as You Love Me" and "Beauty and a Beat." Pink put on an acrobatic, energetic performance, and Christina Aguilera wore a tiny costume to sing a song of her own.
As for the awards, Taylor and Justin were big winners. After arriving with his mom, Pattie Mallette, as his date, Justin picked up an early honor for best pop or rock male artist. He was also recognized with favorite pop/rock album and, right at the end of the show, artist of the year. Taylor, meanwhile, was crowned favorite female country artist. Further honors went to best new artist Carly Rae Jepsen and favorite country band Lady Antebellum. Jimmy Kimmel was the master of ceremonies for another successful Primetime Emmy Awards in LA on Sunday evening. Jimmy kicked off the show with his latest star-studded skit which featured Zooey Deschanel, Connie Britton, Lena Dunham ,and more. Homeland and Modern Family were the big winners of the evening, though there were tons of fun and funny highlights throughout. Aaron Paul from Breaking Bad gave one of the most animated acceptance speeches of the evening, ending with a very emotional shout-out to his fiancé. Claire Danes also sent out some love to her "baby daddy," husband Hugh Dancy, without whom, she said, none of this would mean anything.
Seth MacFarlane had an actual onstage blunder when he didn't walk up to the correct mic stand, and Ellen DeGeneres had her own embarrassing moment when she stepped on stage without her pants on. In other highlights, Louis CK was a big winner of the night, Jon Stewart had to fight his way to the stage to accept his 10th Emmy for The Daily Show, and Michael J. Fox earned a standing ovation when he stepped on stage to present Modern Family with its best comedy series win. Elton John held his 19th Annual AIDS Foundation Academy Awards Viewing Party at the Pacific Design Center last night. He performed on stage with Florence Welch, and Vanessa Hudgens and Ashley Tisdale let loose on the dancefloor. Elton invited lots of Brits to his Oscars shindig, including Katie Price, Terri Seymour, and Sharon and Kelly Osbourne. Plenty of couples engaged in PDAs, like Heidi Klum and Seal, Darius Campbell and Natasha Henstridge, and Petra Nemcova and Jamie Belman. Other pairs who posed for pictures included Dave Annable and Odette Yustman, Claire Danes and Hugh Dancy, and Nicole Richie and Joel Madden. Inside the bash, Emma Roberts partied with Chace Crawford and Hayden Panettiere, and Elton posed with Kim Kardashian. Jamie Foxx and Steven Tyler hung out, and David Furnish chatted with Ryan Kwanten. Elton also had a laugh with Smokey Robinson and Cee Lo Green. Costars Rashida Jones and Paul Rudd walked the red carpet, as did Eric Stonestreet and Eric McCormack, while Prince, Rufus Wainwright, and Billy Zane enjoyed the do. Matthew Morrison, Jane Lynch, Chris Colfer, and Jenna Ushkowitz brought some Glee too.

Vanessa Hudgens, Kristen Bell, and Mandy Moore walked the red carpet on Friday before heading in to take their seats at the Stand Up 2 Cancer phone banks in LA. The hour-long telethon was broadcast on multiple major US networks and streamed across the web, and the effort raised more than $100 million dollars for research in the fight against the disease. Modern Family's Sofia Vergara and mum-to-be Christina Applegate, both of whom battled cancer in the past, proudly modelled t-shirts that read "Survivor."
Gwyneth Paltrow arrived on the West Coast on Thursday, ready to add her support to the event after attending Fashion's Night Out in London last week. She caught up with Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, while Rob Lowe joined Diane Lane. Cindy Crawford, and Chuck's Zachary Levi helped in collecting donations, and fresh-from-Mexico Ryan Seacrest also lent his star power to the cause. Contributions to the charity are still being accepted, and they're even open to making good use of Facebook credits!

Brit actress Archie Panjabi celebrated her win at the Emmys on Sunday night by attending the Governor's Ball afterwards with her The Good Wife costar Alan Cumming and the other winners, nominees and presenters. Host Jimmy Fallon sang and danced as host of the show, and kissed his wife Nancy Juvoven once it was all over. Hugh Laurie watched Ricky Gervais bring beer to the ceremony and had a glint in his eye at the ball.
