Taylor Swift, Keith Urban, and Pitbull were brought together by Tim McGraw last night for his Superstar Summer Night concert taping in Las Vegas. The event, which comes hot on the heels of Sunday night's ACM Awards, featured performances from Taylor, Keith, Ne-Yo, Luke Bryan, and Tim's wife, Faith Hill, who sang "Piece of My Heart." Taylor put her fit figure on display in a tight black dress as she performed "Highway Don't Care" with Tim and Keith. Lady Antebellum also took the stage to introduce fans to a new song, "Goodbye Town."

The country music event is meant to be a kickoff to the Summer touring season, and also raises money for ACM Lifting Lives, the philanthropic arm of the Academy of Country Music. The special will air on Sunday, May 19 on CBS.

Country stars from all over the US got together in Las Vegas last night for the Academy of Country Music Awards. Taylor Swift looked stunning in a gold Dolce & Gabbana gown as she worked her stuff on the red carpet alongside stars like Sheryl Crow and Keith Urban. Carrie Underwood made a big statement in a red Naeem Khan frock, while Faith Hill went for a simple black number to pose in front of photographers with husband Tim McGraw. Inside the event, Taylor got giddy when she got a chance to meet Shania Twain and John Mayer sang with Brad Paisley in one of his first live performances since he has battled vocal cord problems.

Big winners at the ACM Awards included Miranda Lambert, who nabbed awards for female vocalist of the year, single record of the year, and song of the year with husband Blake Shelton. Miranda broke down in tears during her acceptance speeches, saying that she was "rooting for Carrie Underwood" for the female vocalist award. Other winners included Little Big Town and Luke Bryan, who won entertainer of the year and also cohosted the event with Blake.

John performed after returning to the West Coast with Chrissy from a visit to NYC, where they attended the amfAR Gala. Faith Hill and Tim McGraw walked the carpet and also took the stage together, and Marcus Mumford hung out backstage with Johnny Depp after singing with Mumford and Sons. Bruce, the man of the hour, rocked the crowd with a performance himself, while Elton John, Sting, and others looked on. Faith Hill and Tim McGraw took the stage for the opening weekend of their new Soul2Soul series at The Venetian on Saturday. They sang hits like "Breathe" and "Live Like You Were Dying," and also teamed up for the popular "It's Your Love." The couple took a break from belting out their favorites to sit down and chat with the crowd in an intimate conversation. Tim and Faith will continue to perform with a string of shows that goes through April of next year, and their first few proved to be successful. Faith tweeted, "The first weekend at Venetian is over. Great time. Making some lasting memories here, that is for sure! Thank you," while Tim added, "Now that was fun...crowds were awesome tonight."

Taylor Swift and Carrie Underwood shined on the Country Music Association Awards red carpet, then headed inside Nashville's Bridgestone Arena to honor the genre's best music of the year. Carrie shared hosting honors with Brad Paisley, and the duo ran a joke-filled show that even included a "Gangnam Style" spoof. Neither Carrie nor Taylor ended up taking home a prize, but both took the stage to perform. Faith Hill, Tim McGraw, and Nashville's Connie Britton and Hayden Panettiere were on hand, too.

Many stars were thrilled with their victories. Miranda Lambert got emotional when she and husband Blake Shelton won song of the year for their duet, "Over You." Blake was the evening's biggest winner with a total of three new statues, and was also crowned entertainer of the year.

They showed sweet affection as they announced their plans for a limited run of Soul2Soul performances at the Sin City hotel that will start this December and run through April. Tim said of the 10-weekend commitment, "This show is all about us. We'll do a few of the songs that we have individually, but they'll be integrated with what we do together." Tim and Faith, who have been married for almost 16 years, went on tour together back in 2000 and again in 2006. Tim's currently on the road with his longtime friend Kenny Chesney, though, as the duo continues their travels for Brothers of the Sun.

Reese Witherspoon was pretty in pink as she stepped on stage to present at last night's CMA Awards in Nashville. The movie star was in the company of country music's biggest names, which of course include Taylor Swift and Carrie Underwood. For the red carpet Taylor Swift wore a strapless J. Mendel, Carrie Underwood was in Reem Acra, and Ginnifer Goodwin was in Prabal Gurung. Taylor performed her new love song "Ours" during the show, and she also took home the biggest honor of the evening, Entertainer of the Year. Taylor also won that award in 2009, making her the second woman to earn it twice. Carrie Underwood and Brad Paisley played cohosts for the third year in a row and once again showed off their funny chemistry on stage.

Reese wasn't the only Oscar-winning actress in the house, since Nicole Kidman was there on the arm of her husband Keith Urban. Faith Hill hit the red carpet in a stunning white Chado Ralph Rucci gown with Tim McGraw by her side. Unlike recent honouree Reese Witherspoon, Gwyneth didn't bring her kids Apple and Moses out for the event. Instead, the Country Strong star posed with costar Tim McGraw, pal Faith Hill, and a handful of other girlfriends. Gwyneth is out on the West Coast doing a press push for her new movie, which opens on Jan. 7. She spent the weekend at the junket with Tim, Leighton Meester, and Garrett Hedlund. Leighton managed to steal the headlines by announcing her intentions to leave Gossip Girl in 2012, but Gwyneth is renewing her commitment to the small screen. She just confirmed that she'll return to Glee in January, but hopefully will avoid fueling any more drama with the Lohans.
