A punk in her own right, Gwen Stefani went all out on the Met Gala red carpet. Her hair was swept into an asymmetrical style that looped into a bun in the back. A liquid black cat eye and red lipstick lent a sexy vibe.

It's not like the UK is ever really without a rainy season, but with April sneaking up on us, it's best to be prepared for the frequent sun showers ahead. I say, why not look chic and fashion-forward in the face of the grey, dreary days that await by dressing like Victoria Beckham, Pippa Middleton or Gwen Stefani in chic hats and rain-gear. Shop stylish umbrellas, raincoats and all the wellies you've ever dreamed of here and then leave a comment to let me know what type of outfit you've put together — enjoy!
Gwen Stefani covers Vogue's January issue, and in the glossy, the No Doubt frontwoman gets candid about balancing life as a rock star, designer, and mom. Gwen and No Doubt reunited this year for their first album in more than a decade, and between her music career, two sons, and multiple fashion lines, Gwen admits she sometimes feels overwhelmed. Fortunately, she says, that's given her plenty of angst to inspire her new music. The issue hits stands on Dec. 25, but in the meantime, here's more from Gwen Stefani in Vogue:

Many of music's biggest names stepped out at the American Music Awards in LA tonight. The 2012 MTV EMAs took place in Frankfurt last night with German native Heidi Klum as host. Before the fun kicked off, she hit the red carpet in a tight, laced-up Versace gown, one of six ensembles she wore throughout the evening. Heidi said hi to attendees like Alicia Keys, Lana Del Rey, Gwen Stefani, and Taylor Swift, wearing a J. Mendel white dress, as they headed inside the city's Festhalle.
Best song honors went to "Call Me Maybe" singer Carly Rae Jepsen, and Taylor Swift won three EMAs, including best female act. Psy took home best video for "Gangnam Style" — see the full list of 2012 MTV EMA winners. Justin Bieber, who's on tour in the US, accepted best male act with a video. Performers at the show included No Doubt, Taylor Swift, and Alicia Keys. Kanye West still had a great night despite not taking home a statue. He and girlfriend Kim Kardashian indulged in PDA, and were snapped lounging on a white banquette kissing and hugging. Heidi also had a memorable time, tweeting postshow, "I thank my lucky stars for all the great opportunities I get to experience. Hope you guys had fun. . . off to the after-party!" At the bash, she made the rounds with other attendees like models Anne V and Isabeli Fontana.
Victoria Beckham, Jennifer Aniston, Gwen Stefani, and more stepped out for the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund at LA's Chateau Marmont yesterday afternoon. Jen hung out alongside Tobey Maguire and Isla Fisher for the outing hosted by Vogue's West Coast editor, Lisa Love, and the publication's fashion news director, Mark Holgate. She also posed for pictures with Tobey's wife, Jennifer Meyer, who presented her jewelry collection for the fund. Meanwhile, Gwen, who wore a revealing tuxedo-style suit that showed off her bra, mingled with a Wes Gordon-clad Katy Perry for some fashionable fun, and Victoria, who sported a look of her own design, cozied up with Anna Wintour for the runway show honoring the fund's 2012 finalists. Other fashionable A-listers in attendance included January Jones, Rachel Zoe, and Emma Roberts.
She's had pink hair and even blue, and there's nobody who rocks a beauty look (or red lipstick) quite like Gwen Stefani does. The No Doubt frontwoman turns 43 today, and while her hairstyle changes are as numerous as her hits, she's more than "Just a Girl."
Gwen Stefani showed off her rock-hard abs for the cover of Marie Claire's October issue. She's promoting her upcoming album with No Doubt, Push and Shove, and is also getting back to performing. Gwen kicked off the NFL season on stage in NYC last week, and recently announced new LA concert dates with her band. She's busy with her career, but took time to talk about her family life, husband Gavin Rossdale, and how she's trying to cut back. Here's more from Gwen Stefani in Marie Claire:
Mariah Carey and Gwen Stefani kicked off the NFL season with live performances at Rockefeller Center last night. Gwen showed off her abs in a cutoff shirt while rocking out with her band, No Doubt, for the pregame show that was televised before kickoff. Mariah had a special guest appearance during her portion of the concert — her dog joined her on stage! Afterward, the New York Giants went on to lose to the Dallas Cowboys at NYC's MetLife Stadium. Both Mariah and No Doubt have albums to promote. Mariah treated the crowd to the title track, "Triumphant (Get 'Em)," from her album due out next year, and Gwen and her bandmates performed their current single, "Settle Down," off Push and Shove, which will be released Sept. 25.
Gwen Stefani and No Doubt rocked Central Park this morning for a performance on Good Morning America. Gwen and the guys played their new single, "Settle Down," but before taking the stage they spoke about making their new record, Push and Shove, due out in September, and how things have changed for the band over the past 10 years. Gwen made reference to starting a family and talked about her boys, Kingston and Zuma. She said, "It was really hard to try to find the time [to write music] with those two little bunny rabbits that I made." It appears Gwen has no regrets about her labors, and added, "It was a real big effort, but totally worth it."
