Demi Moore joined several Oscar-winning Hollywood stars at AFI's Night at the Movies event in NYC last night. She wore a sheer jumpsuit as she mingled with stars like Harrison Ford, Sally Field, and Cher, who were all at the event to introduce one of their classic movies during the film-lovers bash. Demi presented Ghost, her 1990 film with Patrick Swayze, while Cher introduced Moonstruck and Sally chatted about Norma Rae. This was a rare red carpet appearance for Demi, whose last public event was to check out Ferragamo's Spring runway collection alongside Nicole Richie and Rachel Zoe back in January. She didn't make it to the Sundance Film Festival this year, but her new film with Elizabeth Olsen and Dakota Fanning, Very Good Girls, did premiere to decent reviews at the annual event.
Taylor Kitsch, Harrison Ford, and Emma Stone are just a handful of the many stars who have already been confirmed for major upcoming films this week. Stone is teaming up with Zach Galifianakis, Johnny Depp's Transcendence gained a lovely lady, and two of our favorite primetime guys signed on for a buddy comedy. Click through to find out where to find whom next, and keep checking back as we update throughout the week!
Harrison Ford stepped out with his lovely wife, Calista Flockhart, for last night's San Diego premiere of Cowboys and Aliens. Newlywed Daniel Craig arrived solo as did his stunning costar Olivia Wilde in a floor-length, lace Dolce & Gabbana gown. Their sci-fi Western was a big draw at WonderCon this Spring, and it's no surprise director Jon Favreau picked Comic-Con as the perfect location for the film's world premiere. Thousands of fans turned out for the screening including a few Hollywood stars like Ron Howard, Nina Dobrev, and Seth Green. The red carpet affair caps off an exciting week for Daniel. His live-action animated project The Adventures of Tintin earned tons of buzz during a Comic-Con panel while another one of his projects, Dream House, released its first full-length trailer. The haunting thriller brought Daniel and Rachel Weisz together, but we'll have to wait until the Sept. 30 release to see if their real-life chemistry translates to the big screen.
The Sony lot in Culver City was transformed into a mix of Key West and Havana Cuba last night for the fifth annual Guys Choice Awards. It's always an unconventional affair and last night was no different, with Cameron Diaz kicking things off in a sexy sheer suit and setting up the evening with a few rules a la Bad Teacher. She came out again later to present Jim Carrey with the Funniest MFer award, and he pushed the boundaries with his acceptance speech. Justin Timberlake preached to the crowd about finding the Holy Grail of Hotness winner, his Friends With Benefits costar Mila Kunis, who defeated Minka Kelly for the crown — who do you think was the hottest at the Guys Choice Awards?
It was Jennifer Aniston, however, who got the ultimate accolades for her sexy status: the Decade of Hotness award. She thanked her yoga teacher for keeping her in such great shape and gave big hugs to all her Horrible Bosses costars, who handed her the gilded antlers. Scarlett Johansson took the stage with her The Avengers costar Chris Evans, and backstage she posed with her recent ex, Sean Penn, who was there to accept an honor with the rest of the Fast Times at Ridgemont High cast. The evening was peppered with shout-outs to the troops, some of whom were in attendance. A group of US Armed Forces men took the stage to present their Troops Choice mantlers to Ben Affleck, and he was humble and thankful accepting his statue. Scarlett was among the ladies who took the Guys Choice red carpet and the show airs on Spike TV on June 10. Many of these famous faces will be out once again for the MTV Movie Awards and we'll be live from the red carpet, so join in the PopSugar party starting at 4 p.m. PDT/7 p.m. EDT!
Who needs superheroes when you can watch Harison Ford and Daniel Craig battle extraterrestrials in the old West? The newest trailer for Cowboys & Aliens looks even better than the first, promising more than just explosions and space invaders. In fact, this second preview almost resembles a horror film.
We learn that this isn't the first time the aliens have invaded our turf (in fact, it seems that they may have even taken Daniel Craig's character hostage in the past). As another added bonus, things get steamy between Craig and Olivia Wilde this time around. The added layers in the second trailer make me even more interested in this movie, so check it out for yourself when you read more
Rachel McAdams and Harrison Ford brought their Morning Glory press tour to Paris this morning. They moved on to France following a short stay in Spain, where Rachel wore a green Geren Ford dress for their a.m. photo call. She paired the mini with trendy clementine lipstick, which has also been worn recently by other actresses like Kirsten Dunst and Chloë Sevigny — check out Bella's guide on how to pull the colour off! Rachel got quite a wardrobe together for her European travels, including the bold red Michel Kors she sported in Berlin and the skin-showing Suno number she wore in London.
Rachel McAdams popped up in Madrid today for a Spanish photo call supporting Morning Glory. She and costar Harrison Ford have been racking up the frequent flier miles this week on their European promotional tour for the film, first stopping in Berlin before moving on to London, where Rachel made waves with a bold, low-cut Suno dress — she even confessed at that screening that she got butterflies when she met Harrison! He had nothing by kind words to say about her while at their December junket in NYC, and the two should be well-acquainted after making the press rounds together for the last few months.
Costars Harrison Ford and Rachel McAdams hit the red carpet together at the London premiere of Morning Glory this evening. Rachel wasn't bothered by the Winter weather as she showed some skin and sexy side boob in a flirty floral halter. The duo kicked off their European promotional tour in Berlin with a red-hot appearance before moving onto the UK where they were welcomed by fans. Rachel's busy schedule may keep her keep her oversees for the time being while Guy Ritchie continues shooting Sherlock Holmes 2. She may be teaming up with Jude Law and Robert Downey Jr. in the still untitled sequel, which may not leave much free time to visit her Midnight in Paris costar and boyfriend, Michael Sheen, on the Baton Rouge set of Breaking Dawn.
Rachel McAdams was the centre of attention last night at the NYC premiere of Morning Glory. She and costars Patrick Wilson, Harrison Ford, and Jeff Goldblum were on the black carpet after a long weekend of doing press at their junket — PopUS talked with the four actors on Saturday, so stay tuned for video later this week! Rachel also chatted yesterday before heading into the screening, mentioning how awesome it was to reunite with Diane Keaton following their work together in The Family Stone. Their current movie is all about Rachel's character, Becky Fuller, as she figures out her work and life balance, and she said the struggle hit close to home. Rachel fit in a few days of press during a break from working on her new Terrence Malick project in Oklahoma with Ben Affleck, who was likewise able to have some time off. Patrick and Jeff, meanwhile, stopped to share about Rachel's great comedic acting in their film — lots of video to come later today on PopSugar Rush!
