Terry Gilliam Talks About Heath Ledger's Last Role
A new poster for The Imaginarium Of Doctor Parnassus has been released and director Terry Gilliam has also revealed more details about Heath's state of mind during filming, saying:

"Heath was just so full of ideas and fresh dialogue and so unbelievably fast and inventive. He was still, in some sense, speeding from playing The Joker, which had liberated him in a way that he had never experienced before. He was always telling me 'I am doing things in scenes that I didn't know was inside me. I cannot believe it'."
I'm so excited to see the film when it's released in the UK on 16 October, what about you?
The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus — See It or Skip It?
When Heath Ledger tragically died last year, he left one movie unfinished, The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus. Terry Gilliam's project was filming at the time, and its future was uncertain, but Johnny Depp, Jude Law and Colin Farrell stepped in to cover the remainder of Heath's character's part in the movie and ensure that his final work could be released. It will be out in UK cinemas on October 16 so check out the trailer and let me know what you think — will you see it or skip it?

Heath Ledger's Video For Modest Mouse — Love It or Leave It?
Before his tragic death, Heath Ledger had started to direct a video for Modest Mouse's song "King Rat" and the result has been unveiled this week. He worked with Daniel Auber, who he met on the set of The Brothers Grimm, to put together a video that raised the awareness of commercial whaling. Modest Mouse's website has been updated with this info:
In January of 2007, while visiting his homeland of Australia, Heath Ledger presented Isaac Brock of Modest Mouse with an idea to direct a video for their yet-to-be-released song “King Rat”. Heath’s vision, brave and unapologetic in its nature, would marry his love of bold and original music with his impassioned stance against the illegal commercial whale hunts taking place off the coast of Australia each year. Always one to operate from his heart and take a stand for what he cared deeply about, Heath’s intention was to raise awareness on modern whaling practices through a potent visual piece without having to say a word. It was his way to let the story, in its candid reversal, speak for itself.
So check out the video and let me know what you think — do you love it, or is it not your thing?
