Jennifer Garner was on the set of her new film, The Dallas Buyer's Club, in New Orleans yesterday. Jen was in costume, as was a gaunt Matthew McConaughey, who shed 30 pounds to play the role of an AIDS patient. Jared Leto reported for scenes as well, in drag as his character. Earlier this week, Jen caught a flight out of LAX to begin work on the project, leaving her husband, Ben Affleck, and the kids back home in LA.

Matthew, though, is joined in Louisiana by his spouse, Camila Alves. Camila, pregnant with their third child, has been spending time with their little ones, Levi and Vida. On Tuesday, Camila met up with pal Sandra Bullock and her son, Louis, to watch the Warren Easton Charter High School marching band perform. The school is close to Sandra's heart, as she "adopted" it, providing financial assistance, after Hurricane Katrina. Sandra and Matthew have remained friends after dating in the '90s and both own homes in Austin, TX.

Jennifer Lopez and her boyfriend, Casper Smart, got dressed up in their black-tie finest to attend Saturday's UNESCO Charity Gala in Dusseldorf, Germany. They mingled at the charity event with other celebrities like Eva Herzigova and Jared Leto. Jennifer, clad in Lanvin, accepted an honor with her sister Lynda for their philanthropic work.

J Lo was able to fit the evening out on the town into her busy European touring schedule. She's due to perform in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, this evening, and then will return to Germany, to the town of Oberhausen, for a Halloween show. One date has been particularly significant to J Lo. She and Casper celebrated their one-year anniversary last Thursday, and he sweetly used their nicknames for each other in a loving tweet. Casper wrote, "Happy one year anniversary to the most gorgeous, kind, sweet, funny, beautiful lil' bear in the world." In return, Jennifer tweeted, "Thank you for sharing your beautiful smile with me everyday."

Jon Hamm kicked things off at the Rag & Bone presentation on Friday, and Kim Kardashian made an appearance with Sophia Bush at Charlotte Ronson on Saturday. Kim was then off to LA for the Grammys, but Sophia continued the front row fun with an appearance at Max Azria yesterday. Fergie and Molly Sims had prime seating to see the hot fringe boots at Diane von Furstenberg, and Kanye West hung out with music friends at Band of Outsiders. Zac Efron, meanwhile, looked dapper in his suit next to Joe Jonas at Calvin Klein's collection yesterday afternoon. Leighton Meester was the guest of honor last night at a bash celebrating her latest cover of Nylon magazine cohosted by Diesel in NYC. Her costar in The Roommate, Minka Kelly, was fresh off a plane from LA to join her in the afternoon for a Q & A at the SoHo Apple store before the bash, which brought out Kanye West, Jared Leto, and Leighton's Gossip Girl buddies Jessica Szohr and Nicole Fiscella. Leighton also fit in time for a swing by Jimmy Kimmel Live to reveal her adventures at Prince's recent concert. Minka and Leighton were together just last week in LA for the West Coast premiere of their thriller. The girls chatted about their own experiences with creepy roommates, and Leighton kicked things up a notch yesterday with the release of her PSA called "Don't Touch My S***." Minka was on the go this morning as well, heading out to make a stop by Regis and Kelly.

They headed to Europe after wrapping up their honeymoon in the Maldives and ceremony in India. Newlywed Katy was among the many gorgeous ladies on the red carpet who chose pink lipstick, which she paired with a sparkly movie ticket dress. Katy's most noticeable accessory as she posed with her husband was her brand-new diamond covered wedding ring. She played host at the event last year, but yesterday Eva Longoria had a ton of fun taking over the job.

Katy shared the stage with pal Rihanna, who recently admitted to feeling terrible about missing the Brand-Perry wedding due to her responsibilities promoting her upcoming album Loud. Shakira was on the long list of performers, and she showed off her iconic abs in a small top. Taylor Momsen brought along her band The Pretty Reckless, while Kid Rock, Kings of Leon, and Jared Leto's 30 Seconds to Mars added some testosterone to the show — there was also a whole lot of skin on display, including from a leotard-wearing Miley Cyrus.
