Katie Holmes and Gisele Bundchen shared a red carpet last night to celebrate the Beauty Culture exhibit, which opens tomorrow, at the Annenberg Space For Photography in LA. It's a collection of images from various photographers, including a snap of Gisele herself, designed to make viewers question the pursuit of beauty. More Hollywood stars came out for the event, including Halle Berry, Ali Larter, and Amber Heard. Supermodel Gisele wrote that she was home in LA after a quick trip to the Amazon, where she was able to do the environmental work that's close to her heart. She posted on her blog, "What a magical place the Amazon is, and so full of history and legends . . . I’m here, sharing my special experience and feelings so we can all think about it. We need and we want to develop, but not at the cost of damaging the planet." The visit was one of philanthropy and fashion, as there was a Gisele Bundchen bikini sighting in Sao Paolo when she took the runway for the Hope Valentine's Day special collection show last week. Katie, meanwhile, is back on the West Coast after a stop in Chicago to honor Oprah and a stint in Florida. She got some swimsuit time in as well when she hit the pool with daughter Suri at her Miami hotel, near where husband Tom Cruise has been working on Rock of Ages.
Ryan Seacrest Rocks Times Square With NKOTB, BSB, Ke$ha, Willow Smith, Jennifer Hudson, and More!
Ryan Seacrest was surrounded by millions of people in Times Square Friday night as he co-hosted Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve. He took a break from American Idol to make the trip to the Big Apple while new AI judge Jennifer Lopez headed to Las Vegas with Marc Anthony. Last week Ryan laughed off rumors of an engagement to girlfriend Julianne Hough, though she was in attendance to lock lips at the stroke of midnight. Jenny McCarthy also got a surprise kiss from her new boyfriend, attorney Paul Krepelka. New Kids on the Block and Backstreet Boys shared the stage again performing a mashup of their greatest hits as they prep for a 2011 Summer tour that has most of you really excited. Willow Smith was in the spirit of the night whipping her hair back and forth while Ke$ha kept the party going with her chart topping hit "Tik Tok." Avril Lavigne debuted a new song, "What the Hell" and Jennifer Hudson showed off her fit frame while belting out the appropriately titled tune, "Feeling Good."
Gavin Rossdale Joins Philanthropic Stars At Gulf Telethon
Celebs manned the phones earlier this week at a telethon organised by Larry King to raise money for victims of the Gulf oil spill. Gavin Rossdale, Ian Somerhalder and Nicole Richie were among those who helped raise $1.8 million for the cause. The Vampire Diaries' star Ian suggested that other big energy companies pitch in funds, while True Blood's Sam Trammell chatted to callers with Jenny McCarthy, who added some levity to the evening.

Jim Carrey & Jenny McCarthy Announce Their Split on Twitter
Jim Carrey and Jenny McCarthy are the latest celebrity couple to sadly announce their split. They've been together for five years, and made the announcement via their Twitter accounts last night. I'm sad to see this pair go their separate ways as they seemed to have so much fun together and formed bonds with each others' children, however their tweets show that their split is amicable. Here's what they said:

Jim wrote: "Jenny and I have just ended our 5yr relationship. I'm grateful 4 the many blessings we've shared and I wish her the very best! S'okay! ?;^>"
Jenny wrote: "Im so grateful for the years Jim and I had together. I will stay committed to Jane and will always keep Jim as a leading man in my heart."
Christmas Comes Early to London With Premiere and Lights
Stars of A Christmas Carol Jim Carrey, Colin Firth and Bob Hoskins literally lit up London last night at the world premiere of the film, which they combined with turning on the capital's Christmas lights! They were joined by Jenny McCarthy in a Holiday season appropriate red coat, as well as The Saturdays and The X Factor contestants, who were more popular than the film stars! Olly Murs, Joe McElderry, Danyl Johnson, Jamie Archer, Lloyd Daniels and John and Edward Grimes looked smart in their suits, while Stacey Solomon and Lucie Jones looked lovely in their frocks: FabUK has the lowdown on how to copy Lucie's style.
Jim Carrey also switched on Oxford Street's Christmas lights with Jason Donovan, and Peter Andre, The Saturdays and Taio Cruz performed for the crowds. Over at Regent Street, Colin Firth turned on the lights while Oliver!'s Jodie Pregner, the Noisettes and Daniel Merriweather took to the stage. Bob Hoskins did the honours over at St Paul's Cathedral, and was joined on stage by Little Boots, Faryl Smith and Spandau Ballet. Andrea Bocelli then led crowds to try to break the record for the world's biggest carol singing event. What a fun evening! Check out more pictures of the premiere and the lights plus the trailer for the festive film after the jump.

Women In Hollywood Honoured
Elegant looks were out in force at Elle's 15th Annual Women In Hollywood tribute event in LA yesterday. The annual event paid tribute to women working successfully in the film industry including Nicole Kidman, Jane Fonda, Isla Fisher, Halle Berry, Anne Hathaway and Sigourney Weaver. Brit actresses Lena Headey and Kate Beckinsale flew the flag for the UK — I adore Kate's simple one-shouldered white gown. Jennifer Lopez, Eva Mendes, Kat Dennings, Katharine McPhee, Courteney Cox-Arquette and Sheryl Crow also attended the star-filled event.

Apatow Clan Are All Aboard For The Pineapple Express
Two of my favourite Freaks And Geeks – James Franco and Seth Rogen – premiered their new movie Pineapple Express in the US yesterday. Just in case my title confused you, Pineapple Express is not a train, in the movie it refers to a rare new strain of weed that the stoner and his dealer (Rogen and Franco) drop when they witness a murder – unfortunately it's so rare it can easily be traced back to them, so they go on the run.
I can't wait to see this movie, and neither could the whole host of stars that showed up to the LA premiere including Jim Carrey, Kanye West, Daniel Craig, Emma Stone, Alicia Silverstone and many more. Check out the fab theme song from the movie by... wait for it... Huey Lewis and the News (FYI: if you're at work, get your headphones out - it starts automatically!).
