We love a themed party, and Hollywood, with Anne Hathaway followed the dress code to a tee, sporting a melon pink shift with a sheer band at the bottom. Rachel Zoe chose a lighter hue in one of her signature shapes, the maxi, while Kate Beckinsale stood out by rocking the colour's bolder cousin. Rather than go in pink, she chose a long-sleeved red number from Donna Karan. Tell us, which would you want to wear?
Anne Hathaway, Rachel Zoe, and Kate Beckinsale hit the red carpet for LA retailer Elyse Walker's annual Pink Party in Santa Monica, CA, on Saturday night. Anne, who hosted the event, looked stunning in a short pink J. Mendel dress and flashed her megawatt smile while posing for photos — meanwhile, her fashion stylist Rachel showed off her growing baby bump in a light-colored gown alongside husband Rodger Berman. Another star who made the soiree a family affair was Kate, who arrived with filmmaker hubby Len Wiseman and 14-year-old daughter Lily Sheen. Actresses Mario Bello and Paz Vega and model Poppy Delevingne were also among the stars in attendance.
It's been a while since we've seen Anne out and about, and she's kept a pretty low profile since attending the Met Gala back in May. The Oscar-winning actress recently began filming the Christopher Nolan sci-fi thriller Interstellar with Jessica Chastain and Matthew McConaughey and has likely been spending her downtime with husband Adam Shulman — the couple celebrated their first wedding anniversary late last month.
There are some interesting onscreen pairings we'll get to see pretty soon — Amanda Seyfried will reunite with a Les Misérables costar, and Blake Lively is joining a veteran actress in a romantic drama. This is just some of the latest casting news going down this week, which also includes new roles for Chris Pine, The Rock, and Kate Beckinsale. Get more details on these inside!
The British sure do know how to rock and roll, so with last night's Met Gala theme being punk, the American ladies took a cue from their friends across the pond, just how to look punk-sational and elegant all at the same time. It's fashion's biggest night out, so click here to see just how these lovelies from the UK paired their hair and makeup with their funky attire.
The Brits sure know how to rock it out punk style on the red carpet, which is perhaps why so many of them were in attendance at last night's 2013 Metropolitan Museum of Art Gala in New York City. Clad in every designer under the sun (more on who wore what British designers later), they were dressed to impress from head to toe with stunning accessories, gowns and shoes full of chains, studs and of course — fishnet. Take a look at these British beauties in my gallery here and leave a comment at the end letting me know who you think looked best.
Kate Beckinsale was decked out in a pink Alberta Ferretti dress that showed off her sky-high heels at the Met Gala in NYC this evening. The gown had a high hem in the front, while it was long in the back, which meant it also put her perfectly toned stems on display. Kate was without her usual date, husband Len Wiseman, but she had plenty of fellow fashionable stars to rub elbows with all night long.

Goodness, this has been an exciting week for film! Shailene Woodley nabbed a lead role, Kristen Wiig and Will Ferrell are collaborating, Christina Applegate is in talks for a reboot, Tom Cruise may play a famous TV man, and Ryan Gosling has added Saoirse Ronan to his directorial debut. See all those and more in this week's biggest casting news!
Kate Beckinsale looked bright-eyed and party-ready at the 2013 Vanity Fair Oscar Party last night. Dressed in a black and gold strapless tulle Monique Lhuillier dress that she paired with strappy Jimmy Choo sandals, a Roger Vivier clutch and Chopard jewellery, the 39-year-old British actress walked hand in hand with her handsome husband. Her makeup was spot on as usual with a nude lip and smoky eyes and her hair was styled in a playful, voluminous ponytail. What do you think of her ensemble?
Last night in Los Angeles, awards season has officially kicked off with the 2013 Golden Globe Awards. Stars lined the red carpet in embellished, bright coloured and form fitting gowns. Their hair, makeup and accessories were styled to perfection, just as we had hoped. Whilst mostly Americans were in attendance, there were more British ladies and gents than I ever expected to see. From Sienna Miller to Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Emily Blunt, Emily Mortimer and more, check out this bevvy of beautiful Brits and leave a comment to let me know who you think looked best from head to toe!
Selena Gomez and Kate Beckinsale attended Vogue's special dinner celebrating Alberta Ferretti's limited-edition 2013 collection in LA last night. Selena, wearing a blue Alberta Ferretti dress, posed alongside Chelsea Handler while Kate chatted up Olivia Munn. Meanwhile, Alison Brie, Brittany Snow, and Anna Kendrick — all in Alberta Ferretti — shared a few laughs as they sat front row at the special presentation.
The night wasn't just for actresses. Rachel Zoe and her husband, Rodger Berman, also dropped by the event to take some of the edge off of a hectic award season. Rachel attended the dinner while her client Anne Hathaway picked up the best supporting actress award at the Critics' Choice Awards while wearing Oscar de la Renta. Be sure to tune in to the Golden Globes on Sunday to see what Rachel will dress Anne in, and don't forget to vote in our predictions ballot for a chance to win $1,500 and an iPad mini!
