Kate Hudson Suits Up to Support Her Director at the NY Indian Film Festival
Kate Hudson wore a Barbara Bui ensemble and Cartier jewelry as she joined her The Reluctant Fundamentalist costar Riz Ahmed and director Mira Nair at a Q&A session for their film at the New York Indian Film Festival yesterday. Kate was coming off a busy afternoon, having just made an appearance on The Late Show. For her chat with David Letterman, Kate wore a leather skirt and a neon pink t-shirt. Kate has been hitting the press trail hard for her new film, which will open in limited release tomorrow, April 26. She made an appearance on Good Morning America earlier in the week too, praising Mira for supporting her on the film while she was still breastfeeding her son Bingham. Kate also premiered the new project at the Tribeca Film Festival alongside her fiancé Matthew Bellamy. While she has been putting in a lot of hours to promote her new flick, Kate isn't showing any signs of slowing down soon — she is set to costar alongside James Franco in Good People, which will begin filming in London in May.
Kate and Matthew Pair Up For the Star-Studded Hot Pink Party
Kate Hudson wore Ann Taylor and brought Matthew Bellamy with her to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation's annual Hot Pink Party in NYC last night. The couple was joined at the charity bash by a Blumarine-wearing Elizabeth Hurley and Elton John, as well as fashion designers Michael Kors, Vera Wang, and Donna Karan. Kate was doing more than just walking the pink carpet; she also presented an award to Kay Krill, the CEO of ANN Inc., the parent company for Ann Taylor, where Kate serves as a brand ambassador.
Kate has been keeping busy in the Big Apple. She is currently promoting her new film, The Reluctant Fundamentalist, which will screen at the Tribeca Film Festival next week. Despite Kate's work duties, she and Matthew did manage to squeeze in time with their boys in the city ahead of their gala date.
Bag to Have: Stella McCartney Baby Bailey Boo

How does this faux python and gold, heavy metal chain bag from Stella McCartney make you feel? I am seriously loving it along with Kate Hudson who was seen wearing it in London last month. Also spotted in Los Angeles, Paris and New York with her baby boo is Anne Hathaway. Lastly, Sienna Miller carried the green version to theatre in New York City on a date with her man Tim Sturridge. This amazing Baby Bailey Boo Bag costs (£670) and is available in two shades. There is also a larger tote in the same colours that costs (£800). The bags will be available very soon online and in stores, as they are part of the Spring Summer 2013 collection. I feel a fashion frenzy coming on with this new arm candy — what are your thoughts?
Kate Hudson Goes Topless and Talks Family in Glamour
Kate Hudson showed off her fit physique on the cover of Glamour's April issue, which hits newsstands on March 12. She showed skin inside the publication as well and shared that "dancing, Pilates, and running after Bing" keep her in shape. Kate talked more about her boys, who she's been traveling with lately, and explained the reasons behind her desire to act with director Mira Nair. Kate will be back on the big screen later this year in Mira's The Reluctant Fundamentalist, but first she'll release her capsule collection for Ann Taylor. Here's more from Kate Hudson in Glamour:
- On what she's reluctant about: "Not much! If I think about my life, I'm not reluctant about taking chances. I'm definitely not reluctant about relationships."
- On her sons: "He's [Bingham's] sprinting! And he's got a natural mullet, which I'm cutting soon. It's growing only in the back, so we in the family say he takes after my Gogie — you know, Kurt [Russell] — because Kurt was a mullet guy in the eighties. Bing's been singing too. He loves music. And Ryder is the coolest cat — an amazing big brother, so patient and tolerant. Bing pulls his hair, and Ryder just laughs. He's such a good person. I couldn't be a prouder mommy."
- On choosing to act: "There's a misconception that if you come from famous parents, you're seeking fame for the sake of fame. I see it as the opposite: Growing up with parents who were in the spotlight — it was almost like, Wow, if I didn't love to create characters, I would run as far away from fame as I could get. But I love performing."
