Over the weekend, Keira Knightley and her muscian love James Righton (keyboard player of the Klaxons), jet set to the hillside town of Mazan, Provence to tie the knot. Clad in a strapless, knee-length, blush coloured tulle dress that she paired with black sunnies, a delicate garland in her hair, flesh-toned ballerina flats and a cropped Chanel boucle jacket, Keira looked ethereal, relaxed and best of all, happy. Apparently, there were only 11 guests that attended the ceremony in town hall but a total of 50 who celebrated their nuptuals later in the day. Among those were Sienna Miller and Karl Lagerfeld.
I loved her relaxed wedding look, especially her her hairstyle that you can see here, but it is the dress that has me confirming just how cool of a kat Keira really is. Could it be that the beautiful actress wore the same Rodarte dress in 2008 to a Pre-Bafta party (pictured here), that she donned for her nuptials? Unless she just really liked the style and had it redone, I think it looks remarkably similar. What do you think?
The Mirror has just reported that 28 year old Keira Knightley is set to wed her 29 year old rock and roll flame James Righton in the South of France this weekend. After a year of being engaged, the blushing bride has apparently chosen Provence as their destination site, where they will have an intimate ceremony with approximately 100 guests.
Back in January, Keira was rumoured to be trying on gowns at Chanel, which is no big surprise as she and Karl Lagerfeld have become quite close. Not only is she the face of Coco Mademoiselle fragrance, but she is the star of his new short film Once Upon a Time and she is frequently spotted in Chanel couture on the red carpet.
We know that Alexa Chung will be in attendance, as she is the one responsible for setting up the lovebirds, but the big question of the day is — what will Keira wear? Browse a multitude of dresses below and leave a comment to let me know which style dress you think would suit her best.
The teaser for the new Coco Chanel short starring Keira Knightley (who is also the face of Chanel's Coco Mademoiselle ads) called Once Upon a Time is finally here. Directed by Karl Lagerfeld, featuring Clotilde Hesme, Stella Tennant, Lindsey Wixon, Jamie Bochert, Lady Amanda Harlech and her daughter, Tallulah, Baptiste Giabiconi, Brad Kroenig and his son, Mr. Lagerfeld wanted his muses and favourite friends of the brand to be part of the project which focuses on the evolving Edwardian-influenced, social customs of the time. He told WWD , "There was a kind of luxury and elegance, for the ones that had money." He happened to also design the cream-coloured based wardrobe for Keira and Clotilde (who plays Coco's aunt), whilst the rest of the cast and street extras wore more historic costumes from the 1913 era.
The short will be seen by an audience for the first time on 8th May in Singapore at the 100th anniversary of the opening of the first Chanel boutique in Deauville. Following the screening, you will be able to watch it on chanelnews.com.

Whilst news broke this morning that English actress Keira Knightley will play Coco Chanel in the new Karl Lagerfeld film, Brazilian supermodel Gisele Bündchen has been named as the face of Les Beiges, a new powder bronzer line for the brand.
The film honours the 100th anniversary of the first ever Chanel store which opened in Deauville, France in 1913. Although it will look like the filming was done in the charming town of Deauville, they will just be sets recreated in Paris. Other models and actresses in the film are Stella Tennant, Clotilde Hesme, Tallulah Harlech and toddler Hudson Kroenig.
On the beauty side of things, Peter Philips has developed a range of bronzing powders that have just hit the shelves at £38 a piece for the compact and £33 for the kabuki brush. If you ask me, Gisele, with her glowing, tanned skin and impeccable bone structure is the perfect model for the five-colour line. Watch the 20 second advert above that features Gisele with her Les Beiges bronzer and tell me what you think of these choice ladies that Chanel has hand-picked.
Keira Knightley took a break from her many projects to pose for the March issue of Marie Claire, which hits newsstands on Feb. 12. She recently wrapped work on Can a Song Save Your Life? and is already back in front of the cameras for Jack Ryan. Inside the publication, Keira talked about what type of wedding she and Klaxons rocker James Righton definitely won't be having, her thoughts on Kate Middleton's pregnancy, and much more. Here's more from Keira Knightley in Marie Claire:
- On the paparazzi shot we won't see: "They're not going to get a shot of me falling out of my knickers as I'm coming out of a club."
- On the royal family: "I'm over the moon about the royal baby. But I really can't mount an argument in favor of monarchy. Is that treason? Do I have to turn in my passport?"
- On her upcoming wedding: "I could have six fake weddings. God, that would be expensive. We're not really big-wedding types. I don't need to have all that."
Keira Knightley donned an Erdem gown, complete with a train, to premiere Anna Karenina in LA last night. She was accompanied on the red carpet by director Joe Wright and costars Alicia Vikander, in Rodarte, and Domhnall Gleeson. Also on hand to toast Anna Karenina was Russell Brand, who mingled with Joe, Keira, and other cast members.
Keira has been busy promoting her latest project, and last week we caught up with her at the NYC premiere. Keira spoke about playing Anna, saying the legendary character from Leo Tolstoy's novel is one "you might hate." Aside from the big screen, Keira can also be found on the cover of this month's Allure. Keira posed topless for the magazine, and inside the issue, gets candid about issues involving her career, body image, and feminism.
In the past day, Keira Knightley has been making the rounds promoting her new movie Anna Karenina in California. She started on an American late night television show wearing a green lace Burberry Dress from the Spring/Summer 2013 collection that she paired with nude Mary Janes. Then, she wore a gorgeous pale green Erdem gown to the Hollywood premiere that she paired with Jimmy Choo heels and Chanel jewellery. For the afterparty, she changed into a woven jacquard neon coral dress from Richard Nicoll’s Spring/Summer 2013 Resort collection that can be purchased exclusively at Liberty.
