Kate Bosworth attended a dinner to celebrate the launch of a new Chanel lipstick last night in New York City. She cosied up with face of Chanel Vanessa Paradis on the red carpet, although Vanessa's man Johnny Depp was unfortunately nowhere to be seen. Model Irina Lazareanu, stylist Rachel Zoe, DJ Leigh Lezark and Patti Smith also turned out to the event, the latter flashing her Haiti t-shirt to the waiting photographers. Leigh Lezark, Diane Kruger and Blake Lively were among the guests at the Chanel Fete d'Hiver benefit in New York last night, all looking stunning in their gowns. The blonde Gossip Girl star is on the front of a couple of magazines at the moment, in Nylon she's looking funky in checks, and on the US Marie Claire cover she's showing some skin! Here's some extracts from her interview:

• On acting:"As a character, I get to be this wild, outgoing person that I’m so not. I think it all comes from being the youngest of five. I was always observing my siblings and hearing stories about their lives that turned out to to be helpful as an actress."
• On growing up and fashion: "Living in New York, I feel stronger and more like a woman than ever before. In high school, it was like, what power do I have — I have long blonde hair, you know? But working as hard as I do now, I feel a sense of power and respect, too. And I’ve learned an incredible amount about fashion on Gossip Girl. Clothes are a personal expression, and my style is as ever-changing as I am: I’m growing, maturing, developing, I’m going through new things in my life, and with that, what I choose to wear changes."

The stars were out in New York last night at the Whitney Museum Gala Studio Party in Manhattan, where glam was the order of the night for the guests. Alexa Chung looked beautiful in pale blue, on the day the second series of It's On With Alexa Chung started on MTV in the US, while Mischa Barton went for gown in a darker shade. Shimmering nudes and metallics were also prevalent as Gossip Girl's Taylor Momsen played her skin coloured dress up with a very smoky eye, and buddies Donatella Versace and Lindsay Lohan also wore pale shades. Go behind the seams with Fab UK! Jennifer Hudson looked stunning in her pale pink dress, while Gerard Butler looked suave as always in his black suit. Yum!

The Spring 2010 Twenty8Twelve Fashion show was so much fun. Not only were the clothes amazing, but I was able to speak to Alexa Chung about her beauty secrets right after she and FabSugar UK talked fashion. And as if that's not enough, we also got to see Anna Wintour in the front row! But just you wait, because it gets even better. After the show, I even snagged a few seconds with DJ Leigh Lezark where we gabbed about her beauty product must-haves. To my surprise, the beautiful brunette was even more stunning up close and personal.

Her blue eyes were piercingly bright, outlined in heavy black liner and her hair was smooth, straight and perfectly in place. Here's the lowdown on what we talked about:

• What's the one beaut product you can't live without? I'm obsessed with Charles Worthington Dream Hair Shine Finishing Spray . I love what it does to my hair.
• What's your best kept beauty secret? I guess getting plenty of sleep and drinking lots and lots of water to stay hydrated.
• What's your favourite beauty brand? Chanel. Definitely Chanel.

While Kate Moss, Jamie Hince, Katy Perry and Russell Brand have been making Paris Fashion Week a rather romantic few days so far, there are lots of other celebrities also making the rounds to check out all the shows. Sophie Dahl and Daisy Lowe caught up at the Louis Vuitton show, while Sophie's man Jamie Cullum attended the afterparty alongside Freida Pinto and Zoe Saldana. Gossip Girl's Leighton Meester also flew over for the LV show, while Renee Zellweger attended the Miu Miu show alongside Leigh Lezark. Dita von Teese and Nelly Furtado sat front row at the Elie Saab show — Paris is definitely the place to be right now!

Leigh Lezark must be planning an amazing Spring wardrobe as she has attended plenty of shows over the past month. We spotted her in London and she's been a front row fixture in Paris.
