Yesterday was a very exciting day. Not only did the sun finally come out (despite the bitter cold), but it was Burberry Fashion Show day. I consider this the end all be all of celebrity spotting, gorgeous British tailoring and envy-worthy accessories shows to watch.

Not only was I backstage getting you all of the amazing details on the beauty looks, but I also attended the show and got to get the full picture of the front of the house and see the jaw dropping bow-enhanced, rich collection full of tweeds, velvets, peplums, teals, olives, greys, burgundys and chocolate brown pieces. The studded gloves and clutch in black and gold was the highlight for me along with a deep aubergine coat modeled by Cara Delevigne. Well, the coat, along with watching big sister Poppy smiling proudly and taking pictures of her little sister walking down the catwalk!

Kate Bosworth and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley both trekked to London for today's Burberry show. They were in the front row along with British actors Eddie Redmayne and Jeremy Irvine to see their new Fall 2012 Burberry collection from designer Christopher Bailey. Kate made the rounds with boyfriend Michael Polish, though Rosie's real-life love Jason Statham sat the proceedings out. Rosie, who'd just flown in from LA, gave kisses and hugs to her pal Mario Testino once inside. Kate, Rosie, and other celebs like Alexa Chung and Clemence Poesy were treated to Christopher's rendition of the iconic Burberry trench coats in action. His finale involved sending umbrella-toting models down a runway covered in silver confetti rain.

Mario Testino was the guest of honor last night at a gala thrown by the Latin American museum El Museo de Barrio at NYC's Cipriani restaurant. Kate Winslet, who just worked with Mario on a new round of ads for Lancôme, introduced the photographer and presented him with a silver Asprey tray that had been signed by friends like Sienna Miller, Julia Roberts, and Demi Moore. The Narciso Rodriguez-clad actress started with a joke, saying, "The two other Kates, Kate Moss and Kate Middleton, were unavailable so you have to make do with me." Mario, who confessed that his favorite person he ever worked with was Princess Diana, spoke for the first time about lensing Prince William and Kate Middleton's engagement pictures. He said of the shoot, "You know, it's not so much what they say to each other because there is no time. Everything is compacted into a very short time because we have to produce these pictures. It's more like me screaming and trying to get everything to go — well, not screaming, but getting in a fluster, I guess you say . . . They are a young couple in love." Affection was in the air for John Legend and Chrissy Teigen as well as fellow attendee Josh Hartnett, who hung out with his girlfriend, Sophia Lie, when he wasn't catching up with fashion heavyweights like Anna Wintour and Donatella Versace.

We love the curves and gap-toothed beauty of Lara Stone, so we're thrilled to see her modeling the season's swim in this sexy, glowing story shot by Mario Testino for Vogue. It's filled with luscious swimsuits, a couple of hot guy model cameos, a sunny Rio de Janeiro backdrop, and references to Brigitte Bardot's sex kitten appeal. Emma Watson continued to shoot her Lancôme campaign yesterday in Paris. The actress switched up from the leather jacket ensemble from earlier in the week to some cute feminine short shorts. Emma looked wonderfully girly in a pastel blazer as she posed in some impressive platform heels. She is working with photographer Mario Testino on the campaign, who she also worked with for the Burberry campaign for Spring 2010. Emma announced her role with Lancôme on Twitter earlier this week. Kate Winslet looked fab in her LBD for Vogue's Le Petit Salon Des Jeunes Createurs cocktail party in Paris last night. The stylish set are arriving in France for Paris Fashion Week, and Lady Gaga walked the Mugler catwalk yesterday. Glamour US cover girl Kate has got a head start on the fun times too. Mario Testino was also at the party, after working with Kate Moss in Brazil and accompanying the model to a London Fashion Week party at Downing Street. Lou Doillon was another guest at the do, and is a familiar face during Fashion Week having attended the Chanel show last October.

Samantha Cameron played host to A-list stars at 10 Downing Street last night. She held a cocktail party as part of London Fashion Week, and hot footed it back from the starry front row of the Burberry show to welcome guests like Sienna Miller, Emma Watson, Kate Moss, and Helena Bonham Carter. Kate had Mario Testino on her arm, while Helena was with Tim Burton, and Sienna had sister Savannah for company. Although the guests are easy to recognise, they still had to prove their identities! This afternoon's Burberry Prorsum show at London Fashion Week saw famous fans of the line turn up in droves to Kensington Gardens. Kate Bosworth and Rachel Bilson made the trip across the Atlantic to be there in person. You can watch the show at FabSugar UK. Alexa Chung contined the Fashion Week fun from all the shows yesterday, as did Anna Wintour and Daisy Lowe plus the woman who opened the week, Samantha Cameron. FabUK chatted with Daisy about her stint on the catwalk and the shows she's seen this week. Douglas Booth and Ellie Goulding also posed for pictures, and Sir Philip Green and his daughter Chloe smiled with Mario Testino. Since the opening day the front rows and parties have attracted the stars.

Kate Moss arrived in Rio this weekend with her man Jamie Hince and daughter Lila Grace. They were joined by photographer Mario Testino, as Kate is in Brazil for a Vogue photoshoot. She's enjoying some fun times along with the work though, as she stripped down to a skimpy black bikini while poolside with her family and friends — enjoying a break ahead of her wedding. While in London she enjoyed an evening with Lily Allen and Stella McCartney, before leaving the cold and rain behind for the sunnier climes of Brazil.
