Michelle Williams clutched her best actress in a comedy or musical Golden Globe for My Week With Marilyn en route to the Weinstein Company's afterparty last night. She posed on the carpet withouth her best friend and date, Busy Philipps. The girls met up inside, though, and Busy later tweeted her happiness for Michelle. Busy wrote, "That was genuinely one of the most fun nights ever. So incredibly proud of my best friend!" Harvey Weinstein got shout-outs in mutiple acceptance speeches last night, being alternatively referred to as "the punisher," or in a memorable quip from Meryl Streep, as "God." Meryl was another winner who turned out for the company's event. She took home the best actress in a drama honor for The Iron Lady.




Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, who's a close friend of Harvey's, caught up with his wife, Marchesa designer Georgina Chapman. Jason Statham, Rosie's boyfriend, was also there to share champagne with guys like Rob Lowe, Alexander Skarsgard, and Gerard Butler. Lots of stars and friends-of-the-famous rolled through the bash, including Lindsay Lohan, Paris Hilton, and a Beverly Hills housewife. While the stage at last night's Critics' Choice Awards saw many memorable moments, and there was plenty of excitement in the audience as well. Dustin Hoffman congratulated George Clooney on his big win and Leonardo DiCaprio snapped a cute picture of himself. Charlize Theron and her Young Adult writer Diablo Cody got together to chat while The Help's Emma Stone, Jessica Chastain, and Ahna O'Reilly shared a laugh. The Critics' Choice Awards took place in LA tonight and recognized actors, actresses, and films released over the past 12 months. George Clooney took home the top honor of best actor, beating out friends Brad Pitt and Ryan Gosling. He was joined at the event by his girlfriend Stacy Keibler and thanked his fellow The Descendants castmates during his heartfelt acceptance speech. The Help was recognized for outstanding ensemble cast with Viola Davis and Octavia Spencer each going home with an individual nod for best actress and best supporting actress respectively.




Leonardo DiCaprio took the stage to honor his mentor and film director Martin Scorsese with the Music + Film award and Bob Dylan also paid tribute to Scorsese with a song. Leo brought along his dad George to the dinner, while the actor's girlfriend Erin Heatherton is currently shooting the upcoming Victoria's Secret Summer catalog. The Artist was the biggest winner of the evening with four awards. Ryan Gosling missed out on the celebratory event, however, his suspenseful flick Drive was crowned best action movie while Bridesmaids won best comedy and Rango earned the title of best animated film — check out the entire list of Critics' Choice Awards winners! Michelle Williams hit the Critics' Choice Awards carpet tonight wearing a chic black and white floor-length Chanel and was escorted by her best friend, Busy Philipps. It's the second night in a row the ladies are hitting the party and award show circuit following a late night out at a Weinstein party thrown in Michelle's honor. Michelle is nominated in the category of best actress for her work in My Week With Marilyn. Busy is sticking by her best friend during the 2012 award season and she even joked that she might not be invited to future award shows if Michelle doesn't take home a win tonight or at Sunday's Golden Globe ceremony. Harvey Weinstein's enterprise hosted a bash at the Chateau Marmont that brought out the My Week With Marilyn star and her best friend, Busy Philipps. Busy was still in the bright blue Carven dress she wore to the 2012 People's Choice Awards, where she told us about her plans to be Michelle's date to the Golden Globes on Sunday! The girls went together last year as well, when Michelle was nominated, but lost, for Blue Valentine. Busy joked that if Michelle doesn't win this year, perhaps she should consider another date for future award shows!

A mustache-sporting Bradley Cooper also made the rounds at Harvey's party after stopping by Liam Neeson's premiere of The Grey. He said hello to friends at the Chateau like Paula Patton, Jamie Foxx, Jennifer Morrison, Lindsay Lohan, and Downton Abbey's Elizabeth McGovern. The event was thrown by the Weinstein Company in honor of her film My Week With Marilyn, which is getting plenty of recognition this award season. Michelle already took home the Desert Palm Achievement Actress Award at last weekend's Palm Spring International Film Festival and she's also up for best actress at Sunday's Golden Globes. Michelle's date for the Globes is Busy Philipps, who also hit the red carpet next to Michelle at last night's InStyle and Forevermark party.

She picked up a statue at the Palm Springs International Film Festival over the weekend and enjoyed a lunch in the movie's honor yesterday. Jessica, meanwhile, missed husband Cash Warren's birthday to attend, though she shared a sweet message on Twitter in honor of his 33rd.

Michelle Williams attended another screening of My Week With Marilyn in LA last night. The actress dressed up in a gorgeous girl. by Band of Outsiders dress to participate in a Film Independent Screening Series of her Marilyn Monroe biopic at the Bing Theatre inside LACMA. It's been a busy week for Michelle, who stopped by The Tonight Show to talk about her film just a few days ago. This evening is booked as well, since she's due to attend a party for the jewelry brand Forevermark.

On Saturday night, Michelle Williams debuted her reddish hair on the red carpet at the Palm Springs Film Festival gala. She picked up the Desert Palm Achievement Award, and dedicated the win to Marilyn Monroe herself. From the stage, Michelle joked about good and bad advice she's received in her career. Michelle avoided the suggestion she change her name, otherwise she could have been known as Michelle Montana.
