She posed on the carpet withouth her best friend and date, Busy Philipps. The girls met up inside, though, and Busy later tweeted her happiness for Michelle. Busy wrote, "That was genuinely one of the most fun nights ever. So incredibly proud of my best friend!" Harvey Weinstein got shout-outs in mutiple acceptance speeches last night, being alternatively referred to as "the punisher," or in a memorable quip from Meryl Streep, as "God." Meryl was another winner who turned out for the company's event. She took home the best actress in a drama honor for The Iron Lady.




Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, who's a close friend of Harvey's, caught up with his wife, Marchesa designer Georgina Chapman. Jason Statham, Rosie's boyfriend, was also there to share champagne with guys like Rob Lowe, Alexander Skarsgard, and Gerard Butler. Lots of stars and friends-of-the-famous rolled through the bash, including Lindsay Lohan, Paris Hilton, and a Beverly Hills housewife. The Critics' Choice Awards took place in LA tonight and recognized actors, actresses, and films released over the past 12 months.

The Critics' Choice Awards took place in LA tonight and recognized actors, actresses, and films released over the past 12 months. George Clooney took home the top honor of best actor, beating out friends Brad Pitt and Ryan Gosling. He was joined at the event by his girlfriend Stacy Keibler and thanked his fellow The Descendants castmates during his heartfelt acceptance speech. The Help was recognized for outstanding ensemble cast with Viola Davis and Octavia Spencer each going home with an individual nod for best actress and best supporting actress respectively.




Leonardo DiCaprio took the stage to honor his mentor and film director Martin Scorsese with the Music + Film award and Bob Dylan also paid tribute to Scorsese with a song. Leo brought along his dad George to the dinner, while the actor's girlfriend Erin Heatherton is currently shooting the upcoming Victoria's Secret Summer catalog. The Artist was the biggest winner of the evening with four awards. Ryan Gosling missed out on the celebratory event, however, his suspenseful flick Drive was crowned best action movie while Bridesmaids won best comedy and Rango earned the title of best animated film — check out the entire list of Critics' Choice Awards winners! The Ladies Go Long, Short, and Sexy at the Critics' Choice Awards

The Critics' Choice Awards brought a fun mix of color and drama to the carpet in LA tonight.

The Critics' Choice Awards brought a fun mix of color and drama to the carpet in LA tonight. Emma Stone, who joined her The Help costars in accepting the best ensemble cast award, continued her green streak with a printed Jason Wu gown while nominee Elizabeth Olsen also went bright in yellow Pucci. Presenter Diane Kruger mixed things up in Prada, and Busy Philipps was back in front of the cameras in hot pink after also attending yesterday's People's Choice Awards. Best actress winner Viola Davis wowed in a glamorous red look from Raoul.

There was a fair share of black on the gray carpet including Kirsten Dunst's short, flirty Dior and Charlize Theron's ruffled Azzedine Alaïa. Evan Rachel Wood, who was nominated for best acting ensemble in The Ides of March, chose a strapless Valentino while The Help's Octavia Spencer went with a black LBD and strappy heels. Melissa McCarthy took the stage in a navy sequined number when she and the Bridesmaids cast won for best comedy.

Bright neutrals made an appearance this evening as well with best actress nominee Michelle Williams hitting the carpet in a Chanel gown and presenter Mindy Kaling donning a simple asymmetrical dress. Stacy Keibler arrived on the arm of boyfriend George Clooney in a dramatic white Giorgio Armani gown and Marchesa clutch. Rounding out all the lovely looks was The Descendants's Shailene Woodley in a slinky silver Calvin Klein. Busy was still in the bright blue Carven dress she wore to the 2012 People's Choice Awards, where she told us about her plans to be Michelle's date to the Golden Globes on Sunday! The girls went together last year as well, when Michelle was nominated, but lost, for Blue Valentine. Busy joked that if Michelle doesn't win this year, perhaps she should consider another date for future award shows!

A mustache-sporting Bradley Cooper also made the rounds at Harvey's party after stopping by Liam Neeson's premiere of The Grey. He said hello to friends at the Chateau like Paula Patton, Jamie Foxx, Jennifer Morrison, Lindsay Lohan, and Downton Abbey's Elizabeth McGovern. It's been a busy week for Michelle, who stopped by The Tonight Show to talk about her film just a few days ago. This evening is booked as well, since she's due to attend a party for the jewelry brand Forevermark.

On Saturday night, Michelle Williams debuted her reddish hair on the red carpet at the Palm Springs Film Festival gala. She picked up the Desert Palm Achievement Award, and dedicated the win to Marilyn Monroe herself. From the stage, Michelle joked about good and bad advice she's received in her career. Michelle avoided the suggestion she change her name, otherwise she could have been known as Michelle Montana.
