Last night celebs got dressed up for the amfAR benefit at Cannes. Kate Beckinsale took a break from her judging duties in a beautifully unique dress, while Emily Blunt rounded out her second day of the festival in a stunning bright red gown that matched her lipstick. Naomi Campbell wore a sparkly dress and had a night off from the news she may be called to testify over some blood diamonds given to her by Liberia's former President.

Diane Kruger had no Joshua Jackson on her arm, but she looked stunning in Chanel. Unlike last night, Rachel Bilson wore shoes with her long black gown, while Kirsten Dunst also went with black and hung out with James Franco. They took photos of themselves on the way to the benefit. Michelle Williams went for a short sparkly number after her Blue Valentine promo.

Mark Ronson took a break from helping Amy Winehouse work on her new material to support his sister Charlotte, who hosted a JC Penney party in New York last night. They were joined by guests such as Mischa Barton who dressed all in black, Twilight's Nikki Reed, and Brittany Snow, who looked cute in a black minidress with bright splashes of colour.

Mark and his other sister Samantha Ronson did a duet, while Peaches Geldof and Eli Roth stayed by each others' side. Paris Hilton was accompanied by her sister Nicky and wore a striking stripy dress for the occasion, while Nicole Richie looked wide eyed in lots of fringing.

The stars were out in New York last night at the Whitney Museum Gala Studio Party in Manhattan, where glam was the order of the night for the guests. Alexa Chung looked beautiful in pale blue, on the day the second series of It's On With Alexa Chung started on MTV in the US, while Mischa Barton went for gown in a darker shade. Shimmering nudes and metallics were also prevalent as Gossip Girl's Taylor Momsen played her skin coloured dress up with a very smoky eye, and buddies Donatella Versace and Lindsay Lohan also wore pale shades. It was another busy day at New York Fashion Week yesterday as celebs made the rounds of runway shows and parties introducing the trends for Spring 2010. Madonna attended Marc Jacobs' show, as did Lady GaGa, who showed up halfway through the event! Mischa Barton plays a model in the upcoming TV show The Beautiful Life and was getting some tips on pouting and posing as she attended more events after her busy weekend at the shows. Her old The OC costar Rachel Bilson was also wearing black lace, attending the Jill Stuart show alongside Nicky Hilton, Amanda Bynes and Leigh Lezark, to name a few. Also spotted around Bryant Park were Katy Perry, Janet Jackson, Emmy Rossum, and Avril Lavigne who showed off her own range of clothing!

There were Brits out in force at New York Fashion Week this weekend as the shows and parties really kicked into gear! Alexa Chung tried to cheer up a sullen looking Taylor Momsen as they hung out backstage at Bryant Park, while Taylor's Gossip Girl costars Blake Lively and Jessica Szohr were spotted at the shows. A newly dark haired Agyness Deyn reflected the grungy goth look of a lot of the guests, as she partied at the Alexander Wang bash alongside fellow guests Mischa Barton and Kirsten Dunst. Pixie and Peaches Geldof also showed up at a couple of events seeming almost as inseparable as Amanda Bynes and Hilary Duff over the weekend. It wasn't just girls though, Jared Leto, Mark Ronson, Corbin Bleu and Bruce Willis were among the men in attendance!
